Quoting Ken777 (Reply 13): EK will order some more 380s from options with compensation for late delivery included in the up front price. Airbus will only be mildly pleased because EK will also order 787-10s and the 748i. Maybe a few 777s for the hell of it. |

Quoting LTU932 (Reply 3):
I hate to be gloomy, but next year is the year AZ will fold. I doubt the merger with AP and the partial privatisation are ever going to happen. I'm however confident that now that it's launched and with the possibility of an order by CI, the 747-8I will be ordered by BA (as 747 replacement, along with some 10 77Ws) and by CX, along with LH ordering the 787. |
Quoting Manni (Reply 30): T Bristish Airways will order the A380, atleast 12 firm orders. They'll also order some A330's in addition to a A350/787 widebody order, because none of the newer jets (from both manufacturers) can be delivered in the time frame they wish. |
Quoting Manni (Reply 30): No major cancellations from the airlines who order/commited to previous versions of the A350. Amongst others SQ and QR will firm up theirs and many more airlines will order the A350. |
Quoting Manni (Reply 30): Cathay Pacific joins the A380 club and places a modest order, shortly after the BA A380 order. |
