Your flight will leave from dock A, just check the departure on www.zurich-airport.com

It gives you also an idea what to expect during the time you will be at ZRH.

And yes, you will have plenty of time for your programme. Enjoy ZRH!

The AVRO seats looked in good shape when I flew them 2 weeks ago!

Flying to/from LCY every second week, my experience is different. Some of the seats hardly remain in the upright position for take-off and landing, some seat backs are very unstable and these seats are very used. Just having flown with the new cabin, it is a fresh look and it creates a corporate identity with the A319/320/321 fleet. Since Swiss keeps the a 2 FA-assignement on the AVROs, they remain at 97 seats with added leg room.

I am just wondering when the A332 - the last type with the old blue interior - will get the same seat covers as on the A343?

Any ideas would be appreciated!!!

If you should decide not to leave the transit area, there is another option within dock A: the upper floor of the bus gates A01-10. There you have an excellent overview of the active traffic between docks A and E including runway 28 with most of the departures, and not to forget, there is a bar.

Hi SR100!

Thanks a lot for your information. I'll check the best option, if the weather is not wet I'll probably try the terrace for a bit and then check out that area with the bar afterwards. If the weather is bad, then I certainly will stay in that indoor area.
Regards

Can I ask you a question. Are you flying for an airline right now ?

Yes. I have been with a US 'regional' carrier (flying all over the 'Region' of nearly the entire US) and am based in DCA at the moment. I fly CRJ-200 RJs. I got this job about 6 months after being furloughed by LX. I have US and JAA licenses. I am shortly before the upgrade to captain at my current company and have a couple of other interesting possibilities in the US, which is why it is not certain I will return to LX. But I know that I would love the flying if I do go back.

Thanks for response and enjoy the "drey scheenschte daeg"  Wink

For those who read French there's an interesting interview of LX's CEO Christoph Franz in the Sunday edition of the Swiss newspaper "Le Matin".
