I must be missing something because I dont see the "beautiful" or "sexy" in this night pic. It looks like its all-white with the exception of the tail. But the 77W is beautiful period. I hope the plane looks different in the daylight.

Last time pics from the AC employee website where posted on here there was a big uproar... Is it different now that the plane has seen the light of day?? Can not wait to see actual pictures of it unobstructed. Should be a nice sight to see.

There has been controversy over the new AC colour on A.net for the longest time. Origionally it was a heavier shade of blue which AC determined to be quite dreadful (And it Was), and faded the colour to this "minty-blue". Also when you see AC aircraft that DO lokk white in the DAY, that's the transitional livery between their old livery and the new one you see on this bird. As for why the blue looks white at night, It's a mystery! The Tail section of AC's paint scheme also looks BRILLIANT when lit up at night!  Wink

Except for 658,659,660,and 661 which were B767-300ER's ordered by Canadian Airlines but Air Canada took up after the meger they were in Air Canada Colours so not quite 10 years

Honestly, that livery is boooring. Just a very light baby green -or what that is - on the whole fuselage and a tail where colours don't fit together. The 77W looks great in BR, SQ, EY, or NH colours, but this thing here is not pretty.

I thought I was the only one thinking this way.... And although I'm aware of the fact that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I highly doubt that only one of those praising it would choose this... this.... I-dont-know-what-colour for his next car or Cessna or whatever!

But instead of toothpaste it rather strongly reminds me of urinal cakes... NO MATTER IF A or B!!!

I'm not a big fan of the minty green livery but I am really happy to see Triple Sevens in Air Canada's fleet.. never thought I would see this so congrats AC on your new baby!.. and a big one at that too!

The first revenue flight hasn't been determined yet. Trust me I've been checking with SOC. Delivery is sched for Mar 28th and then it goes to YUL for the once over. When that is complete they will put it into sched service to get the crews certified, no dates are set in stone yet.

i really don't see a reason for such excitement , livery wise at least.
However it is always nice to welcome a new airliner regardless A or B , and the T7W is indeed an amazing bird.
