The ducks and I patiently await. For some reason, it spent about 20 minutes in a holding pattern and then they did a runway check for it.

And here it is!!!

As you can see, I suck at photography but it was worth the 40 minute drive.

Quoting Tak (Reply 1): Very nice pictures!!! A friend of mine went to see the plane arrive and she said it looked massive. She said it was a lot of fun. I can't wait to see her pictures. |
Quoting B6JFKH81 (Reply 4): I was impressed at the jetbridge setup they had at T1 gate 1 for the A380. Very smart the way they did that! |
Quoting Spacecadet (Reply 9): , where is this thing parked? |

Quoting LHUSA (Reply 31): Don't know if this was posted on ready on this thread, but the A380 actually did a fly-over of LH's US headquarters in East Meadow, NY for all of the employees that couldn't make it out to JFK. They were all standing on the roof to see the plane. |

Quoting AirTran737 (Reply 37): Here's the arrival on JFK ground http://archive-server.liveatc.net/kj...KJFK-Del-Gnd-Mar-19-2007-1600Z.mp3 the controller says "it's big, round and fat". Quite funny actually. The ground controllers were quite helpful to the other airlines who wanted a peek at the Whale. |
Quoting Mirrodie (Reply 36): Thank goodness the weather was near perfect! |

Quoting RJpieces (Reply 43): I wonder if David Neeleman would be happy with the B6 pilots who taxied around JFK the long way just to get a glance at the A380 parked at T1 haha |
