Its money, money and more $$
Quoting AlexPorter (Reply 153):
Honestly, I wouldn't mind this one if they would just keep the top half of the widget a medium to light blue, changed the black to dark blue, and bothered to put a cheatline on it somewhere - even a thin one, or alternately, making the title a little bit bigger. Right now, it's too white and it doesn't have enough blue on it! I know lots of airlines are blue, but just addding a little bit would be nice - and keeping with Delta's roots, too.
Quoting DLCnxgptjax (Reply 155):
If you look closely the tail is blue. It's just a really really dark blue. Kinda like the old cheatline on the widget livery. I agree though, from a distance it does look black.
Quoting JetBluefan1 (Reply 156):
I'm one of the very few who actually likes it...though, I will admit, that I do prefer the current one more.
Why does DL change its livery SOOOOOO MUCH more than any other airline out there? Isn't it expensive?
Quoting Alitalia744 (Reply 115):
Well it's out people. There ya go.
As many have said, some will like it, others will hate it. My biggest issue with it is the tail. Don't chop the widget.
Quoting AlexPorter (Reply 161):
Even this would be acceptable to me (I tried doing it the normal way with the blue and red where they normally are, but I decided in this case that I liked them switched):
Quoting ExpressJet_ERJ (Reply 173):
Am I the only person that noticed that is not a real airplane? If looks like a 1:400 model. What wing doesnt have a NAV light on it? (I can only see 1 picture the others are deleted).
Quoting Concord977 (Reply 175):
Correct. It is a model. There were 3 photos, the third of which showed people standing near the model:
A quick redo of the proposed new delta livery. I brought back the full tail widget
Quoting A388 (Reply 184):
I also couldn't see the photos in all the links provided. I guess they all have been deleted but there already is an aircraft at Boeing in this new DL livery? Which aircraft? I want to see the photos!!!
Quoting Alitalia744 (Reply 185):
Supposedly there were other pictures up there of a real 767 painted in this scheme? Engines open, interior, etc?
Anyone catch those?
|Quoting Delta4eva (Reply 186):
Reply 27 shows a model 763. There are no aircraft painted in the livery yet.
Quoting ThePalauan (Reply 102):
This just in... Delta's changing their name to "Identity Crisis Airlines."
Quoting ATLAaron (Reply 91):
I just don't understand this. None of of us like it, so that has to say something.
Quoting Captaink (Reply 90):
And other than NW, I can't really think of any other 'new' livery that I like.
Quoting Piercey (Reply 110):
Can any of the airlines do a livery right any more?
This would have been nice to see:
Quoting AviatorTJ (Reply 134):
2) New font. (Looks small. I like the retro look)
|Quoting DukeOfSkies (Reply 196):
How come I can't see the photo! It says "The photo you were looking for has been deleted". Is there another picture source?
Quoting Floridaflyboy (Reply 198):
Well, I haven't seen the US livery in person, so maybe it would grow on me if I saw it face to face.
