Quoting ADiZzy (Thread starter): What do you think is up? |
Quoting Bicoastal (Reply 5): Typical aging issues along with United flying what few airplanes it has as much as they safely and possibly can. All of their planes are having maintenance issues....they're in the air a lot with many take offs and landings. Something's got to give. |
Quoting Spoke2Spoke (Reply 8): I am curious know know what a 'complete power failure' is. Not sure how the entire airplane could shut itself off on its own. |

Quoting ADiZzy (Thread starter): We were taxing and everything turned off- even the engines. We were towed back to the terminal and not let off the jet. the mechanic did something....we pushed back...began to taxi again and the same thing happen all over again. As we pushed back for the third time the pilot got on the intercom and said "Third time is always the charm"! |
Quoting Socalfive (Reply 4): United is a badly managed half-sunken ship that can't quite die. |
Quoting Spartanmjf (Reply 6): UA is a carrier that embodies some of the worst practices of the old legacies, and they have let operations suffer as a result of constantly deferred capital maintenance and acquisition. |

Quoting ADiZzy (Reply 9): a guy did something to what appeared to be the bottom of the tail. |
