I was at BJC last night and my son snapped some great photos of N501LX. I'll post them later on this evening when I get home. They also had Tanker 45, a P2 Neptune fly out from the Forest Service Base at around 7:15PM last night heading north. It flew about 500' over my house in Broomfield and rattled the windows. What a great sound!!

Anyone know how things are going up at FNL? Any chance that it'll get any more airline service? I'd love to see something like a CRJ to SLC or ORD.

I'm flying on F9 in November to visit a friend and plan for my move to Westminister. This will be my first F9 trip, my 3rd into the new DEN overall! I cannot wait.

And oh, Colorado is beautiful!  Smile

Anybody know how the two LH flights are doing (load factor-wise).

I've seen the A343 to Munich takeoff a couple times now to the south...and boy does it gain altitude slowly (I love it)...it reminds me of some first-gen jets. I can see about the first 10 minutes of every flight (taking off to the south) from my vantage point (about Arapahoe and Parker roads east of the Chinese Theatre for all of you interested in specifically where...mind you, my estate resides on a hill, alloting me a unobstructed view to the north)...and boy, a pair of binoculars makes it all that much better.

When does Lynx start ops anyway? I know that the first three cities are Rapid City, Souix Falls, and Witchita.

Cool...I didn;t know we had Vol 1. Anyways, anyone know any news on COS. Is DL sticking with the two dailies to ATL, any chance they'll go back to the B757? I do that flight quite a bit every year and I havent done it since it was changed, and I have no plans at getting 3 hours in an RJ. I am flying COS-SLC-DFW in mid august tho.

Hi all, I am new to A.net and live in Colorado. Good to see there are other enthusiasts in the area.

I saw the Q400 on Sunday at Jeffco when I returned from Vegas. Have to admit both me and my buddy were wondering what it was and what it was doing at BJC. Guess I am a bit behind in the news dept. LOL

Hey Denver A.netters,

Does anyone know whether or not the DEN-NRT flight was approved and when it might start? I assume Spring '08 but have not heard much about it since it was being discussed a few months back.

The more 777's we can have running around DEN, the better.

I think the only way that a DEN-NRT flight would happen would be on ANA with a 787. That would be small enough to make the route profitable and it would provide international feed into the UAD hub at DEN.

Last I knew, this was (is) the current plan. UA has said "no" for the time being. This whole issue has been an still is a hot topic with DIA, and is always being pursued in some manner. It is not a matter of "will it happen," but, "when."

Oct 1 is the target date, however this depends on receiving their certificate by then.

Looks like F9 will be leasing two gates on Concourse C. Lynx will takeover east end of A, and they want A's east end to look like the east end of the new B.
