Quoting TwoLz2Rn (Reply 3): Why is this route so lucrative? |
Quoting DFWEagle (Reply 4): Furthermore, in the case of Angola there is probably considerable business traffic associated with the oil business (Angola is quite a large oil producing country). This kind of traffic is usually high yielding anyway. |
Quoting MAH4546 (Reply 5): Let's not forget Aeroflot's service to Luanda, which is probably one of few (if not the only) remaining scheduled flights that operates once every fortnight (every other Monday). |

Quoting AF022 (Reply 2): TAP, Air Namibia, Ethiopian and South African are the only carriers that have more than 1 weekly frequency, and they are probably making a sea of money on the route. |
Quoting Lt-AWACS (Reply 22): I knew it was twice weekly and the route is flown and has been flown for some time now though I was not aware it had gone to thrice weekly. NAteDAL do you know when did it go 3x? Many of my contractors have flown the route and enjoy the service and I know it is quite popular in Houston. There is an article detailing some aspects of it on the HAS webpage. Ciao, AWACS |
