Hmm to bad YVR is not seeing any of them right now, when should YVR expect to get the 777s back or even better (though I doubt it) the 345  Smile?

YVR to see the 77W 2 x daily (1 to SYD non-stop and 1 to YYZ) this is effective 14Dec-31Jan.
Then effective 1 Feb these flights go to a 77L.

Bless the 345's. They did well and I think YYZ-HKG was the perfect route for them. They're very capable aircraft and whomever gets them next will surely put them to good use.

Well its a matter of time until YVRHKG as well, due to the eventual A340 exit.

Any chance of the 777's doing domestic runs from November 25 - December 2, 2007? All I seem to see are the usual 767's and A333's.

The smaller 777 has been YYC to Heathrow return occasionally,

HOWEVER,

The large 777 was in YYC for a photo op. over the weekend.

Probably just getting people used to it, BUT the 777 has been flying since April.

It goes daily starting next summer also with B763 though. Currently TLV isn't served more due too the fact that various aircraft are out of service for the XM refit. Chances are high that the daily flight starting next summer wil remain all year around when yields / loads prove to be good.

Yes, but only until AC receives more 77L to operate them to HKG and SYD.

I've seen the 77L in the schedules for YYZ-LHR during March 08 and probably before and after this period too.

AC seems to have a 77L flying AC856/AC849 for the first two weeks of December, then switching to AC848  hyper  (my flight) /AC857 for the remainder of the holiday season and into the new year.

I would suggest that if you want to find out more that you download the Star Alliance Timetable program; you find the occasional mistake but overall it helps out when choosing flights far into the future. For example they had my flight as a 77L long before Air Canada actually updated their website from a 763 to the 77L.

Are you sure the 77L ever operated YYC-LHR? I do not recall seeing it or even hearing about that.

However, we did just enjoy a month of the 77W operating the YYC-LHR route, as the OP said in their opening post.

And the 77W was in YYC on Sunday for the employee event, it was originally supposed to be over a month ago but got delayed due to scheduling and the such.

Are you sure? Those flights were op'd by 77W per LHR's movements website.

Are they really going to have a 77L from YYZ to LHR? I checked flights to LHR from ORD through YYZ and noticed they have a 777-300ER and 200LR going that way as well as the other usual stuff like A330's, and 767's, etc. I put some dates in July down for this.

Yes, but only until AC receives more 77L to operate them to HKG and SYD.

I thought AC had announced that they would be using the 77W on the YVR-SYD route during peak seasons and the 77L during periods when demand is lower. That's reflected in their use of the 77W during the December-January period.
