Name That Airline! (on Google Earth That Is...)

Thu Sep 13, 2007 8:30 am

Let's start another name that airline (or aircraft) here's one:

Big version: Width: 670 Height: 524 File size: 111kb

This is @ YYZ.
Sorry, can't tell you terminal or gate.

Please add images of your own! I guess it doesn't have to be just Google Earth.

name the airline crossing the takeoff active runway at Heathrow, I love the LHR heathrow image, it has the longest queue of any airport, unless Im mistaken.

I'm afraid that image is gone. The new Google Earth has images from 2007, this version can look into space and see people walking on streets.

Guess what the green one is:

Alitalia, how on earth do you get it right? To me it looks like a white 3-holer and a white 4-holer (from the angle taken) -- there's no way I could ever identify that 747 as an SQ bird!

Sorry to burst your bubble AF340. Some Google images may have been made this year, but the the Cubana (TACA) A320 at YYZ dates from April 2005. You can see the evidence for this by scrolling to the FedEx ramp on the north side of the airport. Plainly visible on the ramp are 5 Jetsgo MD-80s. They were only there in the early spring of that year.
