JetBlue Color Change? |

Quoting Sammyk (Reply 3):
I thought Airbus doesn't do bare metal? |
Quoting Mnik101 (Reply 4): Than explain the Eastern and AA A300s that were bare metal? |
Quoting B6JFKH81 (Reply 1): Considering that we are sending our older a/c through the paint line soon...I don't think you are going to see this happen. |
Quoting OceansWorld (Reply 6): Well, some of AA A300B4-605R have been delivered with a bare metal fuselage, but I can't say how many. And to date, i believe they are the only Airbuses having a bare metal skin. |
Quoting JetJock22 (Reply 7): Are we gonna see the harlequin design on the 190 anytime soon? |
Quoting JetJock22 (Reply 11): Thats the one I was talkin about. That is by far my favorite tail design. |
Quoting JBo (Reply 8): AA's A300 were originally delivered with a grey-painted fuselage because of Airbus' usage of bonded primer. AA didn't like the look, so they essentially had to special-order the A300s with a special skin that could be left bare. |

Quoting StarCityFlyr (Reply 23): A bit off topic, but does anyone know what became of the JetBlue ship that landed in California with the front landing gear locked sideways? Made for some great news footage on TV but never heard what the problem was or whether the aircraft had been returned to service. |
Quoting EMBQA (Reply 15):
Eastern were never polished... they were white or grey..... |
Quoting LASOctoberB6 (Reply 17): i would like it if B6 went something like Braniff...... |
Quoting GeorgeJetson (Reply 28): jetGreen, |
Quoting Rampkontroler (Reply 30): I went through a bunch of pages here at A.net to find an AA one in the grey scheme, but I don't have the time for 65 pages worth, so here's an old scanned pic of an American A300 in the grey scheme on another site: |
Quoting Sammyk (Reply 32): Seriously? It took me maybe 10 seconds, if that. Just go to the photo search, put in AA, A300 and Oldest First and there you have them in all their gray glory. |
Quoting Observer (Reply 35): Spirit Airlines has bare metal A320s |
Quoting Smokeyrosco (Reply 31): There was already a JetGreen, didn't last long though. |
Quoting GeorgeJetson (Reply 38): That's really too bad because the world really needs more “green” Silly aircraft in order to protect the environment! |
Quoting GeorgeJetson (Reply 38): Maybe Sir Richard Branson will come up with some. Will he call it Virgin Green? Silly |

Quoting NASBWI (Reply 40): As Crogalski noted, it was repaired and returned to service. It may also be interesting to note that N536JB was not the first (but actually the second) aircraft in B6's fleet to suffer this problem, with the same result (thankfully). The first incident occured on a routing BUF-JFK and wasn't covered by the media. In both cases, it was only the nose gear that needed special attention; definitely not write-off material. |
Quoting LASOctoberB6 (Reply 39): Quoting GeorgeJetson (Reply 38): That's really too bad because the world really needs more “green” Silly aircraft in order to protect the environment! good gravy, that was corny.. Quoting GeorgeJetson (Reply 38): Maybe Sir Richard Branson will come up with some. Will he call it Virgin Green? Silly possibly.. ..boy, someone has really had their fill of corn today.. |
