I thought B6 has suspended opening new markets for the next couple years. Perhaps the flight is a charter or a maintenance run. Doesn't B6 get its aircraft maintained someplace in central America?

Thanks for the chuckle.... I needed it after the last week. Don't think I've worked less then 12hrs per day on this Mod Program. Funny, this one didn't make all the news the last 3 did here on Anet...!!

No.. it is a delivery flight. The E190's are being working on in BNA, but have not reached inspection times yet.

Months maybe but years may be stretching it. There's been rumors galore that 2 new cities were to be announced this week (I believe one was Punta Cana or Puerto Plata), but that is just a rumor that has come and gone. I don't see any big expansion or new destinations coming in big numbers nor as far as years from now, but one or two wouldn't surprise me over the next year or so. I would hope some of the routes that are 3/4x daily that aren't producing much be reduced, not canceled totally, before any new service is initiated.
A/Cs do fly to SAL for maintenance work.

Not quite. We are not opening 15 cities per year like we did in 2006. We will open new cities, but at a MUCH slower rate. We will also use existing cities and "connect the dots" more.

Some of our C checks get done in SAL by TACA for our A320's, but we use other facilities as well. The E190 hasn't gotten to that point yet...but is getting close.

We have to be reaching our first C check soon...is that going to be done by EMB at BNA or AC in YWG? I haven't heard anything.
