I saw Pam Ann in Sydney once - she's hilarious! She takes the piss out of Cabin Crew so very well!
I do enjoy a spot of flying, especially when it's not in economy!

Oh my gawd that hair! I have never heard of her before, but i love the commercials. In some ways a pretty easy spoof to do but nice to see BA having some fun with it. Just enough over the top without being too annoying.
Loved the safety demo with the life jacket, big hair + little hole for the head and it inflating to make it much worse.

It most certainly is, and I was at the DVD Recording show... over two hours of Pam's spot on observation and wit - it was her best show ever, by far. And a great mix of international and no-frills crew in the audience to help her!
**BTW - HMV pre-order is cheaper than Amazon!

Pam Ann is an absolute legend. The viral marketing seems to be working as I've had lots of non-airline people telling me they've seen it and think it's hilarious. I was at the DVD recording and I'm hoping not too much of it will be edited, it's an instant classic.
The fact is we don't make the same mistake more than 3 times....maybe 4!

Well spotted! From what I've heard, this is now the way the BA logo is shown. The Mylius font has also been slightly altered.
Now back to the main topic! Pam Ann is just amazing! Well done BA!

Why is this funny again? It's not original, and certainly not as creative as the umpteen python, kids in the hall, SNL, mad tv, family guy, simpsons, bob and margaret, zucker bros, etc. sketches/spoofs of airline service that came before it.
It must be funny to people who are already familiar with Pam Ann and thus laugh because of that familiar connection, because taken on it's own, it's kinda lame.

The thing that cracks me up is that life jacket manufacturers do, in fact, specially make a demo version of their vests with an extra large hole, which makes it easier for the cabin crew to don without messing up their hair!

Lighten up man. Appreciate it for what it is - all the other sketches you list are entertainment programmes - this is a recruitment piece. How many other airlines can you name would take this angle, and have a laugh at themselves in the process? Not many, certainly not Stateside anyway
