What is that tail logo supposed to represent?

I kind of like the new idendity but as far as it comes to the aircraft paint scheme, I'm not so sure.

All white with a small splash of color. Its all we can expect from most airlines these days. I like the red they use, and I'd like to see much more of it on that livery.

It is very Low Cost livery indeed! Pretty cheap for CSA if I must say.

It definitely needs a character line. Without it, it looks ultra-low-fare-airline like.

The red engines are cool though.
Upcoming flights:
April/May: AM MEX-SCL 788 (J), AM EZE-MEX 789 (J).

I think it needs a little more blue, it's too "Virgin" red, silver and white.

Oh No!!! The last thing OK's scheme needed was more white and less colour, in my opinion.

To me, it looks like half of CBS' logo got run over by a truck. At least it's a nice shade of red!  optimist

Hi there,

the new livery does not bring me down to my knees, but JAL did not too but I kind of got used to it. The old OK livery was not bad but it deserved an update.

What surprises me is that blue has disappeared completely. I would definitely keep it since it is one of three Czech national colors. I am wondering why they have dropped it out...

By the way, what does that guitar pick shape represent? I understand on the tail there are 3 such shapes put on top of another (rotated a bit). I imagine blue "guitar pick" underlaid below red one would give nice results, but that's just me...

Best regards
F-A-O

It looks like the livery of a pharmaceutical company.. Can't figure out right now though...

It looks cute though... A bit too simple for a national carrier...

I thought that too, and hadn't even seen your responses yet! That should be a bad indication, three unrelated people independently come up recognizing a near copy logo.

Pretty uninspired marketing, if you ask me.

And I still think the new Delta looks like Citgo Gas.

Applause, applause and another round of applause to the highly paid advertising/consulting firm that came up with this new logo/livery. The thousands and thousands of Krones you earned more than compensate for the 20 minutes spent "thinking" (and I use the term loosely) to "create" (again using the term loosely) this new livery.

How can I get a job with this your firm. I mean its a piece of cake...take a classic livery and throw it in the toilet, paint the plane white and use Sans Serif typface and a one colour, nonsense logo and Bingo! Paycheck in the mail.

Oh well as somebody is bound to post....."most people don't care what the plane looks like on the outside or even take notice"... so I guess we should stop complaining about it. Afterall we weren't paid a ton of money to design it.

Big version: Width: 1600 Height: 1200 File size: 477kb

Still "OK" in my book........

Looks like a C to me, as in Czech. I think the tail is quite nice, actually.

As far as the rest of the plane goes, well, it's paint... on a plane. You all are fanatical! Alas it's not very ispiring, however, the old one wasn't either. At least the new livery is "modern" and matches the rest of the euro-whites out there.

Oh man.....this is a fiasco! It looks like some Scandinavian charter airline livery from the early 1990s. Looks cheap and boring. Is CSA becoming a LCC?! Almost looks like "hey, we just dry-leased this aircraft for a couple months, we'll use it mostly for holiday flights, we didn't repaint the whole aircraft in the real CSA livery, this is a budget version and that's why we didn't repaint the red engines"...

I don't like it much. Like others said, they should really add some blue in there. It's part of the Czech flag, and will make the livery more interesting.

While it does have the look of a LCC livery, I don't think it's bad at all. The old livery was very, very dated and badly needed to be changed, and it's an improvement on that.

Give it a chance.

I don't mind its being white... but being the flag carrier... I would think they should at least go with a look that look like a major... not an new start-up LCC.

It is not a bad livery for an LCC...IMO..

I first, I thought it was a logo jet for a random company...  Sad
