Quoting PZ (Reply 9): A year ago, and for a short short while, PZ was the only carrier operating in ASU. Now we have other alternatives, such as AeroSur, GOL, and Aerolineas Argentinas. |
Quoting PZ (Reply 14): But I've been previously reading this kind of rumors about other airlines coming (TACA, Mexicana, etc), and at the end, nothing happens. Does anybody have another source about AA plans on returning to ASU next year? |
Quoting CV990 (Reply 17): A bit aside of the topic just to let you know that Cardozo is scoring good in my favourite team here, Benfica, yesterday one more goal...that fellow have a wonderfull left foot!!! Regards |
Quoting MAH4546 (Reply 16): American Airlines is fully intent on returning. They still have their business offices and employees in Paraguay for this very reason. |
Quoting PZ (Reply 18): American doesn't have an office here in Paraguay anymore, they closed the offices and if you want to buy a ticket from them you have to call the Peru office. And as far as I know, they fired all the employees here in Paraguay. |
Quoting PZ (Reply 18): Aquino is a friend of mine, he used to be a LAP (Lineas Aereas Paraguayas) pilot. |
Quoting PZ (Reply 18): Now you have other choices to fly from EZE, you can choose from TAM, GOL and Aerolineas Argentinas! Let me know if you come here again and we will go flying to other places in Paraguay! |
Quoting PZ (Thread starter): returned last monday (22-OCT) to ASU after 6 years with 2 daily flights, a non-stop ASU-EZE flight and a ASU-CORRIENTES-AEROPARQUE flight. |
Quoting PZ (Thread starter): There are now 5x daily flights to Buenos Aires (3 PZ, 1 GOL, 2 AR) and 5x daily flights to Sao Paulo (3 PZ, 2 GOL) |
Quoting CV990 (Reply 17): ....I know TAP have plans to fly to EZE, so I might flight with TAP from LIS to EZE and from there I'll pick TAM Mercosur again to ASU...we'll see! |
Quoting PZ (Thread starter): First, hello to everyone! this is my first topic! ASU is slowly starting to get more traffic. Almost a year ago, PZ was the only option available after AA, RG and other airlines left ASU. Now, a little more than a year after, besides PZ, AeroSur, GOL and AR are operating in ASU. AR returned last monday (22-OCT) to ASU after 6 years with 2 daily flights, a non-stop ASU-EZE flight and a ASU-CORRIENTES-AEROPARQUE flight. There are now 5x daily flights to Buenos Aires (3 PZ, 1 GOL, 2 AR) and 5x daily flights to Sao Paulo (3 PZ, 2 GOL) I hope this is the beginning of the reactivation of ASU. We still miss AA! |
Quoting Marcus380 (Reply 25): Interesting.... Do you know which Airplane is used by bu AR to Fly ASU-EZE-ASU ? We are flying cargo from ASU to CDG, and the monopoly from TAM made it difficult to negotiate... However the arrival from the A320 on some TAM ASU-EZE flight was very good, since the cargo capacity of the Fokker 100 had a maxumum of 500 kgs ! |

Quoting Hardiwv (Reply 22): I think the AEP-ASU service is only 3 x week, while EZE-ASU operates daily. |
