Air Namibia received the first of two Boeing 737-500s last Thursday. The aircraft is leased from Capex Leasing Limited for five years and will be used to serve regional routes like Luanda, Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Seems the people in Nairobi, Kenya has something to be proud of as their LCC carrier Fly540* celebrates its first birthday.
Began service between Nairobi and Mombasa on November 24,2006 with ATR-42's
*The name 540 refers to its price of Sh5,540 per adult return fare between Mombasa and Nairobi.

JED-ASM (currently 2x weekly M90)
RUH-KHT (currently 1 weekly 772; will turn to 2x weekly 741/743 before being dropped)
Reduce
JED-NBO to 1x weekly 772 (from 2x weekly)
Downgrade
JED-CAI to a daily M90 (from daily 747/772)
RUH-CAI to a daily 772 (from daily M90+747)
...Also JED-TUN returns April 2008 with a weekly 772. SV must have the least organized network ever, no way they can be competitive with 1 weeklies to everywhere!

Good for buisiness travellers? No. Angola in general? Yes.
No way is a business traveller going to use a weekly flight to get down somewhere and do business.

Air Namibia A340 was operating for behalf Ghantours on LGW-ACC-LGW
Hajj flights were operated by 3X L1011 aircrafts, one of them was skygate.... EX-044 and EX-056..
Also an Ex NW 747 (3hours boarding time) and Kabo airlines 747, Kabo 747s are banned froom opearting to JED so the 747 landed in RKT instead, an air bulgaria A320 made the RKT-JED sector
A regular in ACC.... for our ET fans

LHR is the busiest long-haul route to/from JNB.
BA 2x B744 daily
SA 2x A346/3/2 daily
VS 1x B744 daily
Then you have Lufthansa(B744), Swiss (A343), TAP(A343), Iberia(A343), Air France (2x 777), Thai(A346), China Eastern(A343), Singapore(B772), KLM(B744), Delta(B764), Qantas(B744), Cathay Pacific(B744) amongst others.
Lagos I think get 2 A340 from SAA, and those leased B763 of Virgin Nigeria.
