AA Eagle To Fly TLH-MIA
DL To Fly DAB-LGA
LH added MCO-FRA on an A330-300 at the end of October, and EI has come back on MCO-DUB. BA has upped MCO-LGW to 10x weekly 777 from 7x as well.
Feel free to add!

Quoting KevinSmith (Reply 4): Beside PNS-MCO PNS-TPA what other intra-state routes are their? |
Quoting Beefstew25 (Reply 6): I don't know the status of the MLB- Berlin flights....Something creepy about them, I feel. |
Quoting TPA" class=quote target=_blank>SWA TPA (Reply 10): Who is operating the TPA-PNS routes? Which DL carrier is it? |
Quoting KevinSmith (Reply 1): 17/35 just re-opened at Pensacola Regional after lengthy upkeep. |
Quoting LesMainwaring (Reply 16): Does anyone know the scoop? |
Quoting FlyPNS1 (Reply 12): Many people forget that in terms of routes, Gulfstream is the leader in intra-florida service. They also provide the only scheduled intra-florida service for VPS and GNV. |

Quoting Danimarroquin (Reply 19): also , news for MCO Avianca is aplying for daily flights to MCO |
Quoting CitrusCritter (Reply 22): Anyone have any thoughts on the possibility of VRB, LAL, and OCF getting service back? |
Quoting WesternA318 (Reply 27): Hey yall, I'd like to know if JAX really is the closest commercial airport to Amelia Island? |
Quoting WesternA318 (Reply 29): about JAX, what does US send there? |
Quoting MIAMIx707 (Reply 31): MCO received the visit of a Pan Am 727 and 2 DC-9-30s of Usa Jet the day before thanksgiving. One of the two 9s is a pax aircraft, new addition to the fleet (ex NW I think). |
Quoting MAH4546 (Reply 7): Word is that they might move to MIA next year as a scheduled service. |
Quoting Luisca (Reply 15): USA 3000 starting BWI-MLB in december. I have heard rumors that FL has been looking into MLB as well. |
Quoting Beefstew25 (Reply 33):
Yep, MLB to Berlin officially was axed before it ever happened. Now MLB needs to unload the $900,000 in equipment they bought for the flights. Idiots. I guess leasing was out of the question. |

Quoting MAH4546 (Reply 34): I didn't know that, but I'm not surprised. Here's the article: http://www.bizjournals.com/orlando/s....html |
Quoting SPREE34 (Reply 35): Lovely. Another route where the aircraft will be over weight and they'll leave bags in MIA. |
Quoting SPREE34 (Reply 35): Happens on MIA-JAX often. One of the reasons I quit flying AA. |
Quoting MAH4546 (Reply 37): You can't really blame AA there |
Quoting MAH4546 (Reply 37): AA can't do any better |
Quoting SPREE34 (Reply 38):
I disagree. If you can't expect you baggage to arrive with you, AA needs to tell you this up front. |
Quoting SPREE34 (Reply 38):
Put a 140 on the JAX route. |
Quoting MAH4546 (Reply 39): They do: http://money.cnn.com/news/newsfeeds/...1.htm |
Quoting MAH4546 (Reply 39): It's cargo hauling capabilities are excellent for a regional aircraft. |
Quoting SPREE34 (Reply 40): How can you defend this non-sense? I was never told,UP FRONT,(at time of purchase) they had equipment that couldn't hack it. Is the above quoted article going to be included in future reservation e-mail? Does this (article) make what happened 6 months ago OK now? |
Quoting SPREE34 (Reply 40): You link is to an article dated November 14th, 2007 at 10:11 EST. My issues were this Spring and Summer. |
Quoting SPREE34 (Reply 40): Not if it's hauling people the 330nm from MIA to JAX as well. |
Quoting SPREE34 (Reply 40): How can you defend this non-sense? I was never told,UP FRONT,(at time of purchase) they had equipment that couldn't hack it. |
Quoting MAH4546 (Reply 41): Passengers who book flights to the destinations with restricted baggage allowance are notified with their receipt of purchase of the baggage restrictions |
Quoting MAH4546 (Reply 41): The baggage didn't make the flight because the passengers in total had too much baggage to fit, not because of weight restrictions. |
Quoting MAH4546 (Reply 41): You faced an unfortunate situation in which they had too much baggage. |
Quoting MAH4546 (Reply 41): So you are trying to tell me that AA knew, up front, that there would be an above average amount of luggage on this route? |
Quoting SPREE34 (Reply 42):
No such disclaimer was ever made to me, or was in my documentation. Yes, I still have the receipts and e-mails as well as the letters between myself and customer service. |
Quoting SPREE34 (Reply 42):
Negative! AA personnel told us it was weight. This is why they asked some folks to give up SEATS for compensation in MIA, to get the WEIGHT down. |
Quoting SPREE34 (Reply 42):
2. They knew before we left MIA for JAX. Had they upped the compensation offer, or openly communicated the issue to us, other arrangements may have been reached. |
Quoting MAH4546 (Reply 43): They don't know the total weight of the aircraft until after all the bags are checked in and right before boarding, and sometimes even after boarding has begun. |
Quoting SPREE34 (Reply 44):
Compensation being offered appx. 1h 15m before scheduled dep. 2 offers were made with no increase in the amount. |
Quoting SPREE34 (Reply 44):
I take it you work for AA pr Eagle? |

Here's the article: http://www.bizjournals.com/orlando/stories/2007/11/19/daily20.html Given how Air Berlin is building up MIA, I would think there's some truth into the rumours that if Air Berlin/LTU flies Berlin-Florida next year, it will be to MIA. |
