I don't see much happening although now I know why I have seen AMX at the airport a few times lately. Although it would be a nice change to see a new carrier

Quoting SANFan (Reply 1): I got kind of a chuckle out of this statement by Medland: "...we are also talking to an airline called AirTran about Baltimore-Washington." I can just see the FL folks being pretty impressed reading that and being very anxious to start flying there! |
Quoting QQflyboy (Reply 2): On service to New York, didn't CO fly Saturday only RNO-EWR service several years ago? Maybe it was announced and never started, but I swear I remember that coming down the pipe. |

Quoting Toxtethogrady (Reply 6): I'm actually surprised Reno doesn't have service to IAD from United. It might have been discontinued when Indy Air went bankrupt. |
Quoting Panaman (Reply 5): Skybus, anyone. That would be a fun destination. |

Quoting National757 (Reply 8): What about WN starting RNO-BWI...196 passengers each day per fare measure (RNO-DCA/IAD/BWI). Should be enough for one daily flight. |
Quoting RNOcommctr (Reply 9): Yes, RNO, along with local tourism authority, does offer advertising support for airlines, but only for new, previously unserved non-stop markets. |
