Info on Airliners In The Graveyard

hey this is my first time posting a thread. just woundering if theres a way to find out info on the airplanes in the graveyards that people buy. like who buys them and where they go etc. any info would be appreciated. thanks guys

There are two things here...the graveyard for airplanes that are finished and used for parts, then scrapped.
The other is storage like at Marana(Pima Air Park in Arizona) or Mesa. There is also a storage airpark in California
but I forgot its name. Its where DL took its L-1011's.
I would guess some of the stored planes could be bought.
Another place to see stored airplanes with binocs is GoodYear about 20 miles west of PHX.

The airport you are probably thinking of is Mojave. There are many Delta L10's parked there..

yea like marana and some at vcv. didnt know if there's a website u can go to buy them and if there's a list of them. i used to live in phx right by goodyear. always drove down there to see them sittin there. i was also lucky enough to see the untied 777 that left there to go to air india. But thanks for comenting back guys

The Delta L1011 retirement website has some info and a lot of photos of Delta retirements (L1011 & 727) in Victorville. There's also a webpage for aircraft "After Delta" and photos from Kingman Arizona.
