B747-400 (how Many Versions?)

Sun Sep 24, 2000 1:12 pm

I was browsing the BA web site and saw that BA operates the new 747-400 lite version and I noticed that Virgin Atlantic operates the "newest" version of the 744....what is that? In other words how many 744 types are there? thanks

I think Virgin Atlantic meant that they are now operating the newest version of the B747 family, the B747-400. However, I'm not sure though... but I belive that's true.
