767's At Your Airport

Here at MSY, Delta has two daily 767-300 departures, both heading for Atlanta; however, in-bound, one comes from ATL, and one comes from DFW. Starting November 1st, DL will be flying 3 daily 763 flights out of MSY. Also, DL flies a couple of 767-200's as well, going to/coming from Atlanta and Las Vegas. What about your airport?

Here at RDU, we have a AA 763 flying to LGW. However AA only operates the 763 from May until October so it can take more ppl to LGW over the summer. All the other months AA flys with their 762's to LGW. Sadly the 763/762 is the biggest aircraft into RDU =(

Here in DUS, we get a whole lot of 767's:

LTU operates several daily 767 flights to exotic destinations all over the world (with a focus on the Caribbean and the Far East).

Condor does the same, albeit on a slightly smaler scale.

BA uses the 767 on flights to LHR.

El Al and Egypt Air occasionaly use the aircraft for flights to TLV and CAI respecively.

United Airlines serves DUS from ORD with a 763 (and AA is rumored to do the same in the future).

CO will serve EWR with either 764 (hopefully) or 762 from next year, replacing the venerable DC-10.

Can't think of any other examples right now...

At SFO, we get 767s from Delta, United, American, Alitalia, Aeroflot and maybe some more. United flies them everywhere! Delta flies them to Atlanta and JFK. Alitalia flies them to Italy!

At LAX the following airlines operate 767's.

Delta -200 and -300
United -200 and -300
American Airlines -200 and -300
US Airways -200
Air New Zealand -300
Martinair -300

There may be more but thats all I can think of at the moment. Most of the international airlines at LAX use 747's.

Here in San Jose, Costa Rica we get Delta 767 from Chicago as a regular. During high season we get Iberia and Condor coming with 767-300er's....

There are more destinations, I just can't think of all of them right now!

Delta will be operating the 764 in Nov to ATL!

Well, I've just looked it up and now it seems that United is about to or has already changed this flight from a 767 to a 757-200. But here's the regularly scheduled flight that (used to be?) is on a 767:

Flt. 1588, ORD-CLE, arr. CLE 11:29 PM

Flt. 803, CLE-ORD dep. CLE 6:40 AM, continues ORD-SFO-PEK.

Even thought Continental is the hub carrier, they don't bring 767s or any other widebodies to CLE, except in the rare case that weather forces the flight from EWR and there's fuel for it to divert to CLE.

The largest planes that regularly fly from CLE are 757s and A300/310. The A300/310 are FedEx cargo jets.

Here in Denver we get 767s with United (-200, -300), Delta (-200, -300), Airborne Express (-200F), and UPS (-300F). Also the occasional American one (-300).

Here in Phoenix we get one or two 767 departures on United to ORD. Right now there is only 1... the other six non-stops are flown by 757s or 727s (3 daily if you want a 727 experience). In the winter Air Canada switches the A320 to a 767-200. TWA had flown a daily 767-200 in the winter months in the past. Plus Delta has flown 767s from Dallas and Atlanta here. Not many 767s here, PHX is 737, 757, and A320 heaven.

Here in HEL, we get the 767 very irregularly. Britannia seems to take a load of tourists with it every now and then and BA may occasionally bring one of theirs instead of the normal 757, but that's pretty much all. (I'm surprised BA doesn't use the 767 from LHR to HEL as they do to most other European capitals and even secondary cities. I've been on their 757s on this route a couple of times and the flights have always been full.)

So it's a rare sight around here. Too bad; I appreciate the aircraft as a longhaul workhorse as much as I appreciate the MD-80 in its shorthaul role. The 767 may not look spectacular, but it sure is reliable and fits most short-to-medium-haul high-capacity routes and longhaul low-capacity routes perfectly.

At EWR, UA, AA, DL, and now CO are all 767 operators, as is SAS and Alitalia.

At LGA, the only 767 operator is DL, flying the -200 and -300.

At JFK, AA, UA, DL, TW, BA, AZ, RG, Lan Chile, Aeromexico, Air Afrique,
Malev, Aeroflot, Egyptair, and others.

If I remember at SFO, the following airlines fly the 762 and 763 into SFO on a regular basis:

Delta (soon 764ER!

)
Alitalia
Aeroflot (I miss the Il-96

)

United and American are the biggest users of the 767 at SFO, mostly used on transcon flights and soon many flights to Hawaii to replace retired DC-10's.

I used to see Air Canada and US Airways fly the 767 to SFO, but nowadays AC flies mostly A319/A320's and US flies mostly A319/A320's and 752's to SFO.

SJC will get it's first B767 pax service in April 2001 with AA operating a B763 to CDG. Airborne Express does operate a B762 freighter to SJC.

The only scheduled 767 service into POS (Port of Spain, Trinidad) is that flown by Air Canada from YYZ twice weekly with the 767-200. It usually uses the 762 during peak summer, Carnival and Christmas seasons; of late during the off-season A320s and even A319s are used. Britannia and Monarch have used 767s here on summer and Christmas charters.

As for sister port TAB (Tobago), Condor uses a 767-300ER twice weekly into it. One flight originates in FRA and continues to BGI (Barbados), the other arises in MUN and continues to GND (Grenada). Both flights then return to their respective origin cities. I have pictures of a Condor 767 which I took in TAB 4 years ago; if I could get access to a scanner I would try to post them.

Oddly enough, here at MSP we get no scheduled 767 service, and there has never been a 767 picture taken at MSP! (There isn't one on airliners.net.) When UA/AA have diversions from ORD, I'm sure that 767s land here, but I've never seen a passenger 767 at MSP.

Cargowise, I believe that UPS and Airborne Express fly their 767s into MSP.

Hey,
At my airport (St. John's, NF- YYT) we have CP B-767-375ER's flying five times a week to LHR.
With the winter sked change occuring in a few weeks, we will lose the CP -300 series and AC will be flying the -233's here daily to and from LHR.
Up until last week we had daily YYZ-YYT service with CP's leased 767-3Y0's. They were nice. They had a different cabin layout than AC/CP's 767-300's.
