I was doing a database search of accident aircraft N#'s and found the following entry for N62AF, the B 737-222 that operated Air Florida Flight 90:

N-number : N62AF
Aircraft Serial Number : 19556
Aircraft Manufacturer : BOEING
Model : 737-222
Engine Manufacturer : P & W
Model : JT8D-9 SER
Aircraft Year : 1969

Owner Address : 1114 AVENUE OF THE AMERICAS
NEW YORK, NY, 10036
Type of Owner : Individual

Any ideas as to why it is still listed as active?

I suspect the registration is being held so that no one else can use that reg #, probably by lawyers for the victims families.

The FAA registration shows the aircraft as unknown status because of lack of current aircraft information.

It's on the FAA web site as 'Not suitable for registration'.

Is there any sort of memorial or marker on the bridge?

Registration date is reflective as just after the accident, indicating a change to it's current status

DC's 14th St. bridge was renamed the "Arland D. Williams, Jr. Bridge" in honor of a passenger who died while saving other passengers on the flight.
