Not sure if this is old news but according to GDS MH are to commence KUL-LHR-KUL thrice weekly on MH2/3 on 01 Jul:
01JUL .2..5.7 KUL LHR 2340# 0550 MH 2 380 B
02JUL 1.3..6. LHR KUL 1200# 0725 MH 3 380 B
Going daily from 25 Aug:
25AUG 1234567 KUL LHR 2340# 0550 MH 2 380 B
26AUG 1234567 LHR KUL 1200# 0725 MH 3 380 B

Has anybody seen any interior pictures? To my knowledge, nothing has been released (apart from the seating plan). Does anybody have any info? Im assuming mini-suites in first and 180 degree lie-flat product for J. I like the airline and think it could play a good oneworld role - however I cant tell you how much their incosistent branding annoys me. The new planes are being rolled out with the new 'malaysiaairlines' typeface and yet the website, advertising etc etc uses the old one? Also new uniforms are meant to be coming but there has been no update on this either.

That is fabulous. Some of my most comfortable flights have been with MH.

Edit: it just completed painting but so far no pictures have been published or leaked. Maybe they want to make a formal presentation as they did for the roll-out of the last new A 380 operator - China Southern.

I cant wait to see pictures of the cabins! I love MH and I'm sure they'd do a good job with their A380s

I think we gonna have a first taste of the cabin as it is scheduled to come to HKG, apparently training and familiarisation purpose, prior to LHR services??

I always though that if was perceived Anet wisdom that MH didn't need these birds and would never take delivery?

MSN 084 entered FAL in late October / early November 2011 and was rolled-out on February 11th 2012. Typically, delivery takes place 7 months after roll-out from the FAL. So I would think MH will take over their third A 380 in September 2012.

well, here is one who was sceptical about them actually taking these birds. still doubt they "need" a plane that size.
I loved MH and had many flights on them when they still came to VIE in the 90s. I made my final thesis in university about them and met couple of people from within. It is a shame they were pretty ruined by bad management, corruption and political influence. inconsistency became one of their trademarks.
but i am sure, their bird and their onboard product will be top notch!

I have only ever flown long haul with MH the 2 times I have been to Australia. I was very impressed by them, but this was in 2003 and 2005, so not sure what it is like now.
Will be good to see an MH A380 at LHR, but I am surpised it isn't used on MH1, or is MH3 just as full?

I totally forgot about BA, yes you are correct but BA will not send their A380's to LHR, they will be based their (even better). If BA will use the A380 to MIA I definately want to take that flight
Talking about MH, what's the status on their new livery on their entire fleet? If memory serves me well I've only seen their 738's and 333's wearing the new livery. I'm guessing these are all brandnew aircraft. When will we see their 744's and 777's be repainted? They will look very nice in this new livery in my opinion.

Early days yet - while the may be taking deliveries of the aircraft, the jury is still out whether the airline actually needs them per se. I'm still skeptical that an airline that has virtually shut down their eastern hub at BKI and vastly cut their international route network needs these birds at this time. Yes while these measures were brought about to bring MH back into the black, I feel as though the aircraft's arrival are a bit premature for the airline - they need to re-discover their identity first and figure out Air Asia before they go about taking in A380s...I may be wrong however
