Very boring video...should be more upbeat, less monotone, and I think I'm falling asleep.

Its okay..I like the flight attendants "swoosh" movements throughout the video and the CGI of the A330 at the end. The animated airport at the beginning looks weird.

I actually really like it. It's simple, clean and precise. I say, "Good job!" I'll give it an 8, and I can dance to it. (showing my age!)

Not bad at all. They could have had better CGI, or just filmed it in an actual plane but other than that it was pretty well done.
I'd still say UA's new one is the best out of everyone's.

Great safety video! It's great that they kept the video to being under 3 minutes in duration. Some safety videos seem to drag on forever...

My guess is that the CGI interior looks wayyyyyy better than the ratty interiors of the actual planes. But the insertion of the human actors against the the CGI background is so artificial that it's a little nauseating.

It's ok, definitely an improvement over the vintage one whihc still showed a CD player.
The coolest safety video out there in my opinion has to be FlyFubai's. The worst one I have seen is CSA's video, they used the scariest looking people.

Wow, US Airways found an interestingly large group of personality-free & expressionless people to star in their video.

Its defintitely "clean" and "professional," but I prefer the personality and bits of humor in Delta's current "Deltalina" video.

The "mother" during the oxygen mask portion just looks possessed! To me it seemed like I was watching the safety video for AM.

I really like it. Clean simple and professional, not a try hard mix like Delta. I think the combo of CGI and a real person works well, a few airlines are doing this now (AF, QF, etc) I much prefer it over cheapo real life aircraft or childish animations. This video reminds me a little of the EK video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSGaRVOLPfg

My only criticism would be the music need a bit more, variation (not sure of the right musical term) It can be used to create a relaxing environment as well as holding interest, this one is a bit flat and boring.

One thing that I appreciate (I conceded may seem strange) is the usage of a well groomed person. American carriers seem to use real employees in their publications and advertisements, which is fantastic; but often their presentation and grooming is shocking. In day to day operations I understand the challenges of enforcing this but there is no excuse for some one looking disheveled in advertisement or the likes - Not suggesting they should all be models either just well groomed. Good job US for having an impeccably groomed individual there.

I think the characters of that are from a cartoon aired on TV in Dubai, certainly a novel approach.

Does anyone know anymore detail of the TV cartoon the characters are from?

Feels like the 90s all over again. The CGI is terrible, too. Almost like an updated version of the old United one... but with a fake(r) cabin.

One way or the other. Not both! They need less terrible actors. At least Deltalina has a personality. These people are just staring and moving.

Why does Delta's video always get flak? Out of all the safety videos it's visually and graphically the best. The words are a bit excessive and the finger-wag and teeth-flash are iffy, but overall it's still better than the strange CGI/human mix going on in the US safety video. United's is great, as well, but it seems a little dull. Delta's is clean, simple, informative, and does a great job of catching the passengers attention.

The DL video when NEW was clean, simple and informative when there weren't 20+ a/c types and "cut in's" to allow for 4 kinds of life vests, seat belt types, raft locations, doors, seats versions, etc. And "evr singel dai-eh"

kind of reminds me of a cheap version of the PMUA safety videos from 2008.

Doesn't matter as only 3 aircrafts will even play this video since they don't have IFE on the airbuses anymore (762, A33S, 757)
