I realize this is just me being somewhat picky, but shouldn't the 764 fleet show 9/16 completed as to E conversion, rather than 9/12?

They haven't announced what they will be doing with the 4 J-Light 764s...I think it's safe to assume that they will get Y+ but there is noth9ing official.

Wasn't that block of 25 numbers for the 727-224Adv fleet?

So Boeing 757-300's 3871 and 3866 do have E+ as it appears they slipped under the radar from our tracking.

I have been watching the 753s and was to announce 3866 today. As for 3871, it was in for mod, but for some reason on exit flights it was showing non E+ for several flights.
It looks like the ETOPS 753s are being done first, probably sine they will start Hawaiian flying in June. Next aircraft going into LAX that could be in for E+ are 3862 and 3867 the 25th and 3868 the 26th. It looks like a two day cycle, so expect only one or two of these aircraft will get E+ when they arrive at LAX.

73G 3704 must be in E+ and I'm sure ferried MCO-IAH, but has not flown a revenue flight yet.
With 3750 exiting MCO, I don't see another 73G in mod at the moment. It could be that 738 Sky 3529 may be out of DTV mod and moving to E+ mod. With an STC the 3 other Sky 738s could then get E+.

That looks ugly as hell. I think it has more to do with the angle that the photo was taken from. I have seen plenty of Copa Airlines E190s and the look good. It is the same paint job just a different globe. They NEED to move the title closer to the door like. The have it further back like ExpressJet on E145s. It is not looking right on this plane.
Worked Hard. Flew Right. Farewell, Continental. Thanks for the memories.

Sorry that I have asked this before, but does anybody have a list of completed A320 overhead bin overhauls? This would be a great addition to add to our tracking!

Bingo    Why someone thought it a good idea to skip up to 750 instead of just back filling 725 later ( Like they did with the 738 Ships 201-209) .. or just leaving it blank and continuing in numeric sequence..

Believe 529 is only getting LiveTV. Will have toi check. Did see seats with monitors in them ready to be put on the plane. I think these are those newer Pinnacle seats.

Was it that ? IIRC, back when I tracked these things, our 737 Next Gen # 750 arrived around April of 1999.
Our original Continental 727s # 725 and # 750 were long retired by then.
We are missing fleet numbers # 737-749 also. IIRC, these were the aircraft we gave to COPA back when we owned 49% of them. Could be wrong about the dates.

Add 753 #3867 to E+ list. Scheduled Flight 40 28/May LAX-EWR with E+ seat map.

Next one in looks like either #3868 or #3869, both showing LAX on 5/27.

I thought there was a 727 still operating in Micronesia that carried the #725, but it's been a while and I'm not sure.

I dont have internal info as I am a teen, but i was board!

That's how I see it, with only FlightAware and UA.com being my guides. The other possible aircraft as of a couple of days have had routing changes. With a 2 day cycle, I'll be looking for another LAX RON on the 29th.

# 3868 is scheduled in after # 3867 for E+.

# 3721 is in MCO for E+.

[Edited 2012-05-27 14:53:59]

Then # 3722 is scheduled after # 3721.

What kind of aircraft do UA/CO use on the Hawaii routes?

I m getting to HNL by AC, but the AC return option includes a 5.5 hr layover in YVR (first flight to YOW only departs at 1030am - the flight from HNL gets in at 5 am).

The current options are either UA 777 or 767 via ORD or (presumably) CO 777 or 767 via EWR.

Problem is - its going to be a Y class trip. What kind of IFE do the 'updated' aircraft have? Is there any form of catering (ORD and EWR are 7hr30m + flights). What kind of 767s does CO use for HNL (764s or 762s?). My understanding is that the 764s have AVOD while the 762s are non-AVOD.

Do the UA aircraft have any IFE? On their 767s or 777s? Do they have separate domestic and international configurations for these aircraft (I assume they do in J, but what about Y).

Also, what are the paid upgrade options? Do UA/CO offer last minute upgrades (to J, not E+) at HNL? And what kind of ballpark figures do they use?

3871 looked like it was in for E+ and exited with seat maps showing non E+. However, I think that was an error and all flights yesterday through tomorrow show E+ seat maps on UA.com.

The ORD flights would be with Pre merger UA equipment and EWR flights with Pre merger CO equipment. EWR is a 764 with personal TVs, AVOD only on internaltional aicraft. Check this page and go to the 767-400 - your flight to EWR would probably be with a High Density seating plan. https://sites.google.com/site/unitedfleetsite/mainline-fleet-tracking or
http://www.united.com/web/en-US/cont...nflight/aircraft/767/400ER/v3.aspx

Most likely the HNL-ORD flight would be with this aircraft: http://www.united.com/web/en-US/cont.../inflight/aircraft/777/200/v5.aspx

73G
Looks like 3722 is ferrying IAH-MCO Flight 6879/29May for E+ or C check and E+

753
3868 is showing a LAX exit on flight 1262/30. Must be E+ , but right now seat map shows non E+ .
Three non-ETOPS 753s are looking to RON at LAX in the next two days. Surprised if they don't complete the ETOPS units first as Hawaii starts soon with 753 aircraft.

Keep checking Flight Aware for aircraft not showing movement
3619 - 753 HOU C Check
674UA - 763 in HKG mod since 2/13 for 2 class intl/lie flat/ winglets
3529 - 738 in DTV mod at MCO - possible E STC aircraft for Sky interior
3704 - 73G we assume has E after C Check in MCO
3437 - 739 in HOU after DFW hail damage
3059 - 764 in HKG for lie flat/E mod - estimate of about 6/11
3051 - 764 in HKG for lie flat/E mod - estimate of about 6/18
3453 - 739 in BFI for new delivery

3868 is showing a LAX exit on flight 1262/30. Must be E+ , but right now seat map shows non E+ .

It is now operating as UA47 to IAH tomorrow May 30

3868 is now shown as flying 1737/31 May LAX-ORD with an E+ seat map.
Can't identify next one in at this point.

Since we now know that the Q400s won't be leaving the fleet and the ones that are getting parked will only be out of service temporarily, shouldn't they be factored back into the percentages?

Anybody know why N475UA has not flown in a while (according to Flight aware)?

Any list on which airbuses have new interior?

I think we will be able to figure it out tomorrow!

I have a feeling that the non ETOPS will not receive e+ on their rons

Just guessing but being the first aircraft in a nose to tail gut job, they probably running into a few supprises

Others will go much faster I am sure

73G
3722 is flying today with E+
3708 looks like it's in MCO for E+
3704 is still not flying. Entered MCO 5/15 for C check.

753
Next unit in will be 3863 or 3864, both overnighting in LAX 5/31

735
3633 must have ferried IAH-HOU Flight 6861/29 May. Could be E+, could be C Check, Could be leaving the fleet.
3619 is still not flying. In HOU for C check since 5/5. Exit package?

It looks like the ETOPS 753s are being done first, probably sine they will start Hawaiian flying in June.

What's the plan for PTV's on the 753's? Still Direct TV even though it won't work for 4/5 hours of the flight to Hawaii?

Any pics of the remodeled 753's would be appreciated. The two birds we took were a bit tired when we flew them EWR>AUA a few weeks ago.

UA.com shows 3862 on the Chicago Flight that 3863 was shown on. So, my guess is it's 3863 into mod.

It must be more than a row as only 3 seats are lost. On the right side of the aircraft, it looks like the galley at the front of Y is being reduced in size as there are no seats lost on that side of the aircraft.

They repitch the right side before the overwing exit rows to get 5 rows of seats DEF to get E+. Not all the seats on that side are E+. No loss of seats doing this.

On the left side before the overwing exit rows, they removed one row of seats ABC and repitched the rest to get 6 rows of E+. So there's just a loss of 3 seats.

No Galleys were harmed in this Mod.

Add 735 #3633 to the list of E+. It was in HOU for a day or so and now flying with an E+ seat map.

73G #3708 had ferried over and back to MCO and is back in service. At this point the seat map shows non-E+, but believe this is in error - will monitor.

753 #3851 looks like it's in LAX for E+ - a surprise if true as the ETOPS units have been the only one's converted to date.

A320 Cabin Updates

I have seen a pic of the first A320 that has the new Overhead bins, but I don't know what the aircraft # is.

N475UA (4275) has been at TPA for the last few weeks, and I think it will exit with the new overhead bins...Can anybody confirm this?

It's a bit hard to keep track of the 735 movements between IAH and HOU. There was a ferry this morning and I can't find the aircraft that would be available to fly it.

3619, 3621,3624, 3632 and 3633 have E+.

3612 appeared to have ferried RT to/from HOU, but seat maps show no E+

It looks like 3626 ferried to HOU 6/1 - maybe E+ or C check

3630 I believe ferried CLE-IAH, but don't know any more about that aircraft not showing operations since 5/31.

738 3529 shows an MCO exit on flight 1200/05Jun. Should have DTV and maybe E+, but seat maps show neither at this point.
3527 may be next one into MCO for DTV on jun 4.

73G 3704 hasn't flown since 5/15.

Not sure why they didn't go with the common interior look which I believe is to be Continental's - bulkhead, sidewalls and seat coverings. Perfect time to do the switch out don't you think? Maybe the reports that Continental's interior is the standard going forward is incorrect. But still, this isn't even pre-merger United's final interior look with the early 90's hospital bulkheads...
