Quoting jfklganyc (Thread starter): Has anyone seen this connector ground level between C and E? A time warp straight out of the late 60s, early 70s. Walking through it I actually felt like I was in the movie Airplane: Small tiles on the walls Old ceiling clocks Old signage Retro Flooring 1970s rectangular loud speakers Very cool...check it out |

Quoting BOStonsox (Reply 1): Yeah, I posted about how old and dingy it is a few weeks ago. I will be there again on Sunday too. |
Quoting zrs70 (Reply 5): Before E was built, D was the international terminal, and that hallway was there. Starting in 1984, I went to Logan regularly. At the time, People Express and Empire were the jet carriers into the Terminal. New York Air, Continental, and Pan Am all had counters in E, but they used some of D's gate space (as it's all connected seamlessly airside). |
Quoting Dreadnought (Reply 8): Can't be worse than Detroit. I flew through there last year, and in one of the connecting tunnels I had flashbacks to my college 'shroom munching days... |

Quoting airbazar (Reply 3): Yes. Whenever I fly out of E, if I have time I take a walk over to C because of the better restaurant options. |

Quoting phatfarmlines (Reply 16): Where exactly is the said ticket counter located in the old Terminal D? Was there a bag claim as well? I'd imagine there should be id it served the role of the old int'l terminal. |
Quoting zrs70 (Reply 11): Here are a couple of old Terminal D photos! |
Quoting bcoz (Reply 18): They kicked everyone out of the secured area and that's where I ended up sitting and dozing (with one eye open) when I wasn't endlessly walking around the terminals. Good times. |
