Frontier FA Bases

Wed Oct 24, 2012 6:05 pm

After many years of reading forums on here I finally became a member. I recently stumbled across Flight Attendant School that the Travel Channel did several years ago. This raised a few questions for me.

1. Where does frontier now have their flight attendants based?

2. Are the flight attendants trained on both the Airbus fleet and the E-jet feel or does republic handle that?

Thank you in advanced for the answers.

Welcome DeltaDC8!!!!!   I believe the only base they have now with the MKE base shutting down is Denver. Also they are only trained on the Airbus. Republic handles the ERJ aircraft I believe.

I thought MKE was moving to CHI to cover all of the Apple flying.

For some reason I thought that F9 had a new base in ORD. I thought that was really strange, so I may be wrong. Maybe it is a Republic base? I do wonder if MCO will get a domicile?

F9 has two FA bases: DEN, and a dual ORD/MDW base.

It would be interesting to know how many of the F/As featured on 'Flight Attendant School' are still with Frontier...

I know Will went to US shortly after joining Frontier. I agree it would be interesting to see where everyone is seven years later.

Sixteen of my classmates and I are still flying at Frontier from the class that was filmed for the show.
It's an entirely different kind of flying; all together.

That is great to hear! I am really considering trying to fly for them after college.

What ever happened to Heather after she was dismissed for being late on the show? Did Pam Gardner invite her to come back and try again? I thought Heather worked really hard on the show.

I wonder if the CHI flight attendant base will eventually cover the flights at Rockford? They were being flown with Republic Aircraft, but recently went mainline with the A319.

Also, it appears that Frontier recently hired a base supervisor for the Chicago base, to oversee the pilots and flight attendants there. Here is the job listing ... http://www.jobmonkeyjobs.com/career/...pervisor-Chicago-Illinois-Chicago.

There's a news coverage from youtube - it's in 2010. Three flight attendant instructors are still working.

There's a flight attendant school (reality tv show- from beginning to the end) from youtube.

Enjoy it!
