PVG New International Routes This Winter

MU announced yesterday that PVG will start some new international routes this winter and also get some increase of frequency.

-PVG-CNS 3x weekly will start from Oct. 30
-PVG-SYD will increase from 1x daily to 9x weekly
-PVG-HNL from 2x weekly to 3x weekly
-PVG-DEL from 4x weekly to daily
-PVG-KUL from 1x daily to 2x daily
-PVG-SGN from 1x daily to 2x daily

-KMG-HAN 2x weekly will start from Dec.28
-KMG-PNH 2x weekly will start from Dec.28

Also, LLC, Juneyao Airlines (IATA Code:HO) will start the following route, which is its first international route:

-PVG-HKT 4x weekly from Nov.9

Juneyao Airlines is an LCC using a single Hub (PVG) and provides full service. They are now operating 28 Airbus 319/320.

If you expand this topic past Winter, DL is starting SEA-PVG in June 2013.

China Eastern Airlines (MU) is also resuming services to Sendai SDJ on 02 February, and later in the year, San Francisco SFO on 26 April.

Low Cost Carrier, Spring Airlines (9C) will also begin services to Zhuhai ZUH on 03 November.

Aerosvit Ukrainian Airlines (VV) will start twice weekly services between KBP-PVG from 23 February using Boeing B767-300ER aircraft.

Juneyao also has a sizeable operation from Hongqiao.

Nice growth. Good for MU and SkyTeam! The frequency to DEL is something I already new, but it does not cease to amaze me that mainland China's largest financial center and India's capital had less than daily service by MU until now.

April/May: AM MEX-SCL 788 (J), AM EZE-MEX 789 (J).

You should not be. There has been long historical strained relations between the nations (remember they have even gone to war).

This will be reduced to 2pw for most of the season, and suspended after February.
