Quoting KiwiRob (Reply 3): I have tickets booked on that route for July, they have been booked for a while now so I hope that SAS keeps flying. I believe they will, for Norway I feel the alternartive to SAS Norwegian is a terrible airline, I try to avoid them at all cost, I keep on having bad experiences with them. |
Quoting danielkandi (Reply 5): Whats the problem with Norwegian ? |
Quoting vinniewinnie (Reply 10): I'm booked on Wednesday August the 14th 2013 and my BRU-CPH-SFO has been rebooked as BRU-CPH-ORD-SFO! |

Quoting danielkandi (Reply 12): hope u get your flights. Or that you booked it on the type of cards that give u back the cash if they bankrupt completely! |
Quoting legacyins (Reply 14): If you can please explain briefly the bankruptcy procedure in Europe. In the US, bankruptcy allows the airline to restructure into a more "lean" carrier. True, not all carriers survive bankruptcy but it protects them, to an extent, from their creditors. |
Quoting factsonly (Reply 16): Europe only has the equivalent to Chapter 7 - Full Bankruptcy, liquidation, close of business! The fact that the USA has Chapter 11 is an issue for the European Commission, as it permits US companies to soldier on, when in an equivalent situation they would have been shut down in Europe. Examples of European companies that could possibly have restructured successfully under a Chapter 11 are: - Laker Airways - Swissair - Fokker Aircraft - Air Europe (UK) |
