Monarch Retiring G-DAJB?

Wed Jan 16, 2013 5:32 pm

Just looking on flightradar24 and seen that G-DAJB is currently en-route EIN - PSM and then PSM - LAS as MON8625. Is this a charter or are ZB finally retiring the old bird?

Based on the routing, I'll wager it's an MoD charter. I've seen similar flights previously with the A300 for that reason.

DAJB's first flight was in February 1987, so quite an oldie! Line number 125.

No further and all Monarch 757 are due to be retired at the end of summer 2014 season, ie. around the end of October 2014.
