Even in NY it's nice and warm.

WN, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease don't cancel my flights tomorrow!! I really need to work in BWI and already had my ISP-BWI-ISP flight cancelled a couple of weeks ago due to weather!

Depending on tonight's weather Flights are planning to resume around 1800 Herb with delays up to 120mins.
But BWI,PHL,DCA,IAD are all weather advised for tomorrow because of this storm.

I'm at work right now at the Willis and it's not looking too hot outside. The snow looks a lot more like freezing rain and looks a Lot like Ice and Slush at the street level. The visibility is about 1/4 mile but again I'm on the 27th Floor.
It's actually pretty slow at the moment, at least on my desk. As compared to other days. I'm usually "Hitting it pretty hard"..
Once the snow stops I'm sure the pace will pick up to the normal level.

Doesn't seem too bad to me up near Evanston. I've seen multiple snow plows go down my little residential side street today so they must be keeping up fine. Not windy at all here. Airports shouldn't be that bad...

LOL, so true, although all my other flights went fairly smooth. My first WN WX cancellation was the tuesday after "Nemo" hit. That monday night I was flying my airline JFK-IAD-JFK, my IAD-JFK flight got delayed because of fog. Apparently, the combo of fog and the ISP runway lighting system going out meant that the R.O.N. aircraft for ISP couldn't get in, so my morning flight on WN was cancelled. The BWI crew for my airline asked "wait, you weren't flying on our airline!?" My response was "I am NOT flying over my house FOUR TIMES in one day to work in BWI (since I would have to fly JFK-BOS-BWI-BOS-JFK)" LOL. Unfortunately due to my travel schedule the rest of that week and the next (I was working in MVY, SRQ, OAK, SMF, SJC and SFO) I couldn't re-schedule until this week.

Hahahaha...nah, if it gets cancelled, I'll re-schedule again ASAP. At least this time they have my cell number to call to let me know of the cancellation. I have a hotel ready to reserve if my return leg gets cancelled.

Back to the topic...how have the UA/AA/WN ops been able to re-route connecting pax via other hubs?

Ehhhhh I don't get it either. My buddy who used to work for them said this was in the making for years, because they weren't getting the numbers they wanted when it isn't hurricane season.
