EWR will be served with 20 weekly frequencies, down from 21 last year.

Oh well, so much for the idea that EWR was left out because there were no changes.

Would be disappointed to see MIA go to T3, and would be surprised.

If memory correct, when most BA longhaul flights were at T4, MIA was one of the few longhaul routes at T1.

I believe MIA went from T3 prior to T5 opening. Might be wrong though.

You have GOT to be kidding!

SKAirbus is right, legacy crew need a kick up the backside, they just lack the genuine enthusiasm of one who's been doing the same schtick for way too long.

Granted I have only taken one Mixed Fleet flight (HND-LHR), but I found the experience below what I have come to expect of BA. The crew was perfectly polite and efficient, however they did not have the charm or character that BA crews normally have. The Mixed Fleet crew reminded me of a Middle Eastern carrier - attentive and polite but sterile. The outbound flight LHR-NRT was excellent - one of best I've been on. The local Japanese crew were exceptional - as always - whilst the British crew were attentive and talkative.

It's now a young person's game. Join Mixed Fleet for a few years, see the world and then leave for a job that pays more.

On the HND-LHR flight I took at least 3 of the crew looked like they were in their 50s.

As a novice in the debate could I ask how Mr Average spots mixed fleet crew as opposed to legacy - do they have pointy heads or something?

Surely as in most lines of customer service businesses the level of service is as much to do with individual attitudes as opposed to an emplyees official designation. To pronounce a whole class of employee as being inept/incompetent/fabulously wonderful is to me an irrational statement.

Even World Crew on the Hong Kong Leg ?

Anyway doesn't detract from being a daft hat !
