Tennessee To Iran In 55 Minutes?

Tue May 21, 2013 6:11 pm

Hello Everybody,

I have a question about the link below. It says that a Beechcraft Bonanza is flying from TRI to Ramsar, Iran in 55 minutes. This has to be a glitch, right?

It must be the space shuttle at 200K MSL ...

The 55 minutes is the problem? How about a Beechcraft trying to fly from Tenn to Iran

What makes you suspect it's a glitch?

It was probably flying to KRZR, or Cleveland Regional Jetport, Tennessee.

No, Bonanza is a supersonic propjet speed up to 4,135 mph new aircraft just came out back in 1972. It was never used it. So, a couple just bought a plane last week. They flew it. Duh! Yeah right.    RZR is in Cleveland, TN.

Computer doesn't know where is the airport match correctly. Flightaware.com may outdated airport code in the database.

Thanks everybody for your humorous answers.
Also, thanks for the KRZR info, and btw, I did know it was a glitch, but I decided to mention it anyway.

This is going to get the locals in east Tennessee fired up when they hear that someone is flying straight from Tri-Cities to Iran...

I was just grazing the site in my Johnson City Motel and that really caught my eye. Actually not so much for the glitch but simply because you don't here from this "neck o the woods" very often. Hey, we're growing too.

I wonder what will happen if some dude really proposed this ... opening up a flight from Tri-Cities to Tehran with a Bonanza

1) Would he be hailed as a hero and welcomed by all ?
2) Would he be brushed away as a business dumba$$
3) Would he be chased out of town by the warmongers?

It is no glitch, Q was quite correct. My brother in law actually worked on the project (unfortunately he disappeared about 5 years ago). This was not supposed to be common knowledge, and I am going to request that our moderator delete this thread for national security reasons.

I've heard East Tennessee moonshine was good. Now the Iranians want it too.

A neat little facility 20+ miles NE or CHA and a gateway to the Ocoee River . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wezM6_qEnew&feature=youtu.be

Intercontinental Ballistic Missile(s). Not to be confused with Drones that are in the news lately.

Not sure if a guy like myself (who grew up in constant fear of being vaporiized by an ICBM) is relieved that a 13-15 year old doesn't know what one is, or sad that this generation fears shoes on airplanes.

How do you think a Bonanza can make it from Tennessee to Iran in 55 minutes? It's powered by the moonshine.

That's easy; a quantum leap of course. Keep in mind the Atomic Energy Agency operates a facility at Oak Ridge a short drive from Cleveland, TN
