Trying To Locate A Boeing 737-2H4.

Thu May 23, 2013 6:49 pm

Hi everyone. I don't post a lot on here although I do read many of your posts!
I have a favor to ask of any of you. I am seriously trying to locate a specific Boeing 737.
This 737 was once owned by Southwest as N64SW, went to the desert but was purchased by a private company and remodeled into a private jet as N500VP. There are no recent photos of it on here and I really want to locate it. I'm thinking it may be parked somewhere and/or withdrawn from use.

I proposed to my wife on this plane back in 1999 on her first plane ride!

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

N500VP is currently being stored at MCI.

The words of a true a.netter right there!!!!

Glad the plane is still in one piece - although "stored" is not usually a good thing for a 30+ year old aircraft...
None shall pass!!!!

I thought Skyking retired all the -200's.

Jason, that's such a wonderful history/connection you have with this plane. I was at MCI not long ago and took a few pics of this bird. It is easy to find when you drive out of the passenger drop/pickup area. Once you exit the airport you will see a group of planes sitting in storage. Along with N500VP there are some old Avianca F-100's, a DC9-14, and some other stored gems. I don't know street names off hand, but the service roads are easy to follow.

I think it has been up for sale for just over four years:

Looks pretty good in the cabin.
