BA2043 LGW-MLE On 7 Jun Delayed By 21h
I have just noted that yesterday's BA2043 LGW-MLE-CMB is yet to depart, and is delayed by 20.5hrs. (STD - 1930/7JUN ETD - 1600/8JUN) The flight usually ops with a 772ER. No info to be found on The BA Source. Does anyone know the reason behind this considerable delay ?

There is no point in turning up in MLE (Male, Maldives) in the dark. There is a window to make for connecting day light float plane flights from MLE if you are not to have accomadation problems.

Would not mind an extra day in Male providing you are not in an airport terminal for 20hrs.

And what about folk travelling to CMB? A small delay is turned into a 21 hour one for connection at MLE and those going to CMB lose a days holiday!
