A350 First Flight Official Thread - Live Streaming

Today, Friday June 14th, is the big day. At 07:00 AM UTC the Airbus A350 XWB will make its maiden flight.

Let's all watch the event in live streaming on www.a350xwbfirstflight.com and discuss the A350's first flight here!

Nope, they fly at 10AM local time, it's 08:15 at the moment... stream starts at 09AM, so one hour before flight

Crash helmets and parachutes as well until the plane makes a few flights and is determined human safe.

Just standard procedure. I just can not imagine if they really did have a serious event how you would move about the plane to the escape hatch in high g's or zero g's.
When they did the video's of the first 380 flights it was fun watching the engineers and tech's try to put their gear on.

That's the problem with all this boring two-holers. The 787 looks like a blown up 767. Though I am sure that both aircrafts are excellent in the performance. This is important and not the sights.

It seems like the live streaming has stopped, like everyone else noticed... I'm sure it will restart shortly.
