Mergers/Takeovers And Boeing Customer Codes

So I was thinking about the upcoming AA/US merger, and the Boeing customer codes that will effectively sit with the merged carrier, and it got me thinking of just how many have disappeared over the years through mergers/takeovers. This isn't a definitive list, and by no means have I included all airlines, but I'd be interested for people to add to the airlines and maybe pick up codes that I've missed in some of the mergers/takeovers.

For the European carriers I've put the owning group, so there are multiple carriers in bold as they are still operational (e.g. BA and IB within IAG).

* G7 America West Airlines

No Boeing deliveries at US Airways since the America West-US Airways merger, but it would have been interesting to see which customer code was used.

I wouldn't bet on that, since their call sign is LX (former Crossair), and not SR (Swissair - Boeing customer code 57)...

I must confess, I've never understood the rationale behind having specific customer codes. Personally, I'm glad Boeing is doing away with them on new frames.

You can add the following which were all 737-200 customers and eventually became part of AC predecessors:
* 42 Nordair (acquired by CP Air)
* 96 Quebecair (acquired by CP Air)
* A9 Transair (acquired by Pacific Western)
