Quoting A388 (Reply 7): Does anyone have an update on the delivery date and delivery routing of the American Eagle ERJ's? A388 |
Quoting FutureFO (Reply 13): Actually if it falls under current run of registrations that are for the E75 it would be N139HQ. As we have 138 as the last 175 for US. |
Quoting brilondon (Reply 16): First of all they are not ERJ175s, they are E175s or Embraer 175s as per the Embraer website. |
Quoting FoxBravo (Reply 17): Actually the proper type name is ERJ 170-200. E175 is what Embraer calls it for marketing purposes. |
Quoting brilondon (Reply 18): No where does it say that on their website and other airlines who fly the type all call it E175. They are not regional jets. AC and DL call them E175s. |

Quoting N908AW (Reply 19): It is type certificated as the ERJ-170-200. If you go to the FAA.gov page and click "Type Certificate Data Sheets," you will find the ERJ-170-200 STD and LR but there is no such type certificate called the ERJ-175 or E175. Just like there is no type certificate for the ERJ-140 - that is type certificated as a variant of the ERJ-135. |

Quoting bmibaby737 (Reply 15): However, Republic Airlines has reserved the registrations N400YX to N499YX so this is more likely to be the new E175s on order I think |
Quoting bmibaby737 (Reply 23): Quoting A388 (Reply 22): So N400YX and N499YX are the most likely registrations? They've reserved N400YX *to* N499YX, so N401YX, N402YX etc. I've no inside information to say this is what they will use, just that these are reserved on the FAA register by Republic. |
Quoting pilotpip (Reply 14): It will likely be in IND, PIT, or CMH before it enters service. |
Quoting ThePinnacleKid (Reply 26): Actually you guys are all wrong on the type: |
Quoting FoxBravo (Reply 17): Actually the proper type name is ERJ 170-200. |
Quoting FoxBravo (Reply 27): For the record, I wasn't wrong... |
Quoting floridaflyboy (Reply 25): The airplane will be in IND on July 27 for an employee open house. Not sure if they're flying it in that morning or the night before, though. |
Quoting loggat (Reply 30): The first point of US arrival is usually FLL for RAH new birds. How it gets there I don't recall. Usually 1 stop between the SJK and FLL. Don't remember where it is. I've flown with one of the pilots that does the delivery flights. |
Quoting loggat (Reply 30): Usually 1 stop between the SJK and FLL. |

Quoting uberflieger (Reply 34): are these registrations universal? or used to comply with FAA regulations and possibly different in other countries? thanks |
Quoting loggat (Reply 36): That's the guy I flew with sitting right seat in the red shirt in the US Airways plane in the picture above. |
Quoting N908AW (Reply 39): FYI I was snooping this morning and came across this on another site: http://www.airplane-pictures.net/pho...pr-eah-american-eagle-embraer-175/ The N-number is covered up but you can rather distinctly pick out the "401" on the nose gear door. So, N401YX it is. |
Quoting FutureFO (Reply 41): It will not necessarily be N401YX. It could just be a fin number like AC uses or how our CO E45's and CR2's were. Registration was one number and fleet number was something different. Look at FL and their numbering system. |
Quoting TWA85 (Reply 44): This is not correct. AA has already announced the 175's will be based in ORD to start with. See the post below. |
Quoting FutureFO (Reply 45): We are going to initially fly the planes from our PIT base. Routing through ORD. This is per company information. ORD crew base opens Sep 1. |
