For a good chuckle, look at TAM's in-flight magazine this month, on the "fleet" page. It says 9 777-300 (with drawing of a 773) and it also has their drawing of an A340 under the title A330, and picture of an A330 under the title of A340

The A340 had left the fleet map on magazines, but I too noticed it came back when I flew JJ in March. Wonder why though, as they're not coming back to service ever again. At least not with TAM.

The magazine editor is clueless and TAM is headless. Seriously, the "head" has moved to Santiago, but the connection to the "body" is still a work in progress.

LATAM is phasing out 10 A332s from TAM's fleet this year. The two new 77Ws that TAM will soon receive will replace the two A332s that are currently deployed on the GRU-CDG route. LAN is also transferring 6 new B-767-316ERs over to TAM.

MUE/F/G/H have the new first class, and it was marketed as being flown mostly to MIA/JFK. However, I don't know the reason they selected US routes instead of Europe.

What routes will TAM put the the new 767's? I have been on OLD TAM A330's and I'm sure the NEW 767's will be a better experience so long as TAM doesn't refit them with their current interiors (the red, maroon, tan, taupe, grey, olive green color scheme) nor the granny's wallpaper upholstery on the angled lie flats in business. Will they just put their horrible TAM livery on it and leave the LAN interiors?
As for the 777-300's, how many will have the NEW AND BEAUTIFUL FIRST CLASS seats? The Priestman Goode designed seats in grey and apple green. Apparently each F cabin has its own Nespresso machine.

The installation of new seats on MUA/B/C/D, as well as the launch of the new business class seats are still a mistery... New planes are coming with the new seats, so by year end they should have 6 77W with new F seats.
I've flown on the news seats a few months ago (GRU-MIA-GRU), but did not notice the personal Nespresso machine...since I don't drink coffee, it could possibly be there...

TAM's new 767-316ERs feature the brand new interiors that LAN introduced with incorporation of the 787s into its fleet.

Do these have a different configuration to A/B/C/D, which I believe are F4C56Y302... I saw a seat-map for F4C45Y314, would that be for E/F/G/H?

According to their website and Seatguru, there is only one premium cabin config, which is F4C56. The only difference is the Y count: 302 or 305.
I noticed that this difference showed up when the new 77W's were being delivered. When they only had 4, JJ marketed the seat count as 365 (F4C56Y305) on their website and inflight magazine. This is the same count you will find at Seatguru, which info seems to be outdated (the map looks ok). Now, JJ's website shows the count and map as 362 (F4C56Y302).
Never found where the difference was...

Effective 12AUG13, TAM will discontinue A332 service to JFK and will increase frequency on the GIG-JFK route to a daily service with red-eye flights in both directions:

Maybe there are indeed 305 seats, but maybe 3 are blocked off for crew rest?

The announcement article I read that had the pictures mentioned a Nespresso machine with a large selection of capsules inside a bulkhead. Aside from the look of the seats, I thought what an amazing frigging idea! Is TAM the first to do this or have other airlines already done it?

They are, but just a little more when compared to the older ones.

New York + Rio de Janeiro = One of the best combinations !

Nice to see the older A332's being replaced with LAN's 767's and new 77W's. I flew PT-MVE a couple of months ago and even if it was a nice flight, the interior on that plane is rubbish compared to the newer A332's and LAN's 763's. TAM doesn't really take good care of their aircraft like LA does. Especially their A320 fleet, some of them have their interiors in a derelict state. Last time I rode a JJ A320, the inner window plastic was missing!

Looks great, that gleaming silver finish on the rear fuselage makes you wonder how great the -300 would have looked in the old AA colours.

The 777-300's have a real Y+ (eg: United E+)? If so, that's cause for a new Brazilian national holiday! Flying 10 to 12 hours in a regular TAM economy seat requires one to be either petite or armed with 2 Ambien and 2 Xanax (each way).
Is this a sign of what's to come? Flying inside Brazil (my second favorite country on Earth) is horrible. I recently flew GRU to Fortaleza (about 4 hours) and it was an unattractive sardine can. With the removal of F, as TAM and VARIG used to have many years ago, I feel for frequent business travellers that criss-cross the giant Brazil. Sure it's fine if you fly just a couple times a year, but my client has to fly GRU/CGH to FOR once or twice a week! When I saw that TAM had Y+ (Espacio +) I tried to pay my way into it at the ticket counter. I was asked "do you speak Portuguese?" and I said "not well, and what does that have to do with anything?"...I found out that TAM's Y+ are just the exit row seats and one must be able to speak Portuguese to safely handle the door in an emergency. Ok, now that makes sense. But WHY would they BRAND and PROMOTE it as a "product"?
BACK to topic, does this OFFICIAL Y+ product now on the 777 going to be made a standard across TAM or LATAM? Is this a signal of smelling the coffee? While I'm no expert in aviation industry finances, I will go way out on a limb and say they can make a lot of extra income by offering a real "Espacio +" , even if a small section on their mega fleet of A320 series and international fleet. I like flying TAM long haul on their 777-300's, like the new F, I'd love to see the new C and a real Y+.
(Avianca should do it NOW if they don't already- I am rooting for Avianca)

Last August when LAN received its first 787, a LAN official stated that LAN is evaluating introducing a premium economy class “in the context of the merger with TAM”...LAN currently offers a premium economy class (the first three rows of the cabin) only on A-319/A-320 operated flights on regional routes within South America.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but as of today, no widebody in TAM's fleet has Y+ as a class. Only the Espaço + first row and exit seats. Which is quite sad because, as stated above, long haul on the regular economy seats is a pain. They have a small subfleet of A320's equipped with a C class in 2-2 seating (a bit like US domestic first), which I think should be made standard, even if just for a row or two. The 777's however, we may see some changes and a real Y+ product being introduced when they are sent to have the new (and unrevealed) J class installed.

I mentioned Y+, not W. United's EconomyPlus is a Y+ product, just like TAM's Espaço+. On most of the fleet, Espaço+ is not a section of Economy, but rather exit rows and bulkheads.
AFAIK, there are only five aircraft in the entire fleet with dedicated Espaço+ sections just like United's EconomyPlus. Those are:
A319: PT-TMI
B77W: PT-MUE/F/G/H
