PHL-Asia Post AA Merger...How Soon?

Sun Aug 11, 2013 10:21 am

PHL is the only large market in the North East without direct Asia service and I was wondering how much more likely is for such route to launch and how soon after the US-AA merger is completed? I would assume PHL-NRT would be the most likely candidate on JAL or AA.

Cheers!

In the original "routes" thread regarding the merger, a few people mentioned that this route was a distinct possibility. There hasn't been any indication of when it might start, if it starts, nor which airline in the Pacific JV, either AA or JL, would fly it.
