In just under one hours time the first AA A319 will go into revenue service DFWCLT as AA1343. Looking forward to the first trip report soon. The second flight will be AA1594 to MEM, then AA2377 to ICT, AA1543 to CLT then AA 2208 and 1582 both to CLE and finally AA2300 to ICT.

Interesting that the first flight is a flight to a US hub. Sign of solidarity or flight to airport with large amount of Airbus expertise?

I believe I read somewhere that they have an agreement with US on maintenance, so if there is a problem in CLT, US should be able to help out. Obviously, we can assume that US has a boatload of Airbus parts on hand there

Im on it Wednesday DFW-ICT I've spent plenty of time in an A319 between DL and F9 and been on many of delivery flights for new aircraft in the Business Aviation world but I am still pretty excited about being on a brand new airliner.

I just saw it land on runway 1L at ICT about 10:35. Low ceilings here, so no photo. There was a water cannon salute on the apron prior to it pulling into the gate.

They say AA 2377 to ICT went out with a "full cabin" in the picture caption.

But this says they went out with 80 pax.

Yeah, they have been on a lot of proving runs in the past couple of weeks. Lots of back and forth to CLE, CLT, ICT, MEM.

I pushed back 1594 today, 1389 in MEM today was also a 319, just came home from working them. 1594 was tail 003 and 1389 was 001. Tail 001 already has an issue with the potable water system. My buddy and I suspect to be a bad selector valve.

128 for AA - not wildly different from the other US majors.

The photo makes it look worse than it probably is, since there are still people up in the aisle stowing their bags.

Is that anything like a broken Falange?

Seriously what is a selector valve and its impact on potable water?

145, according to Spirit, and even more than that if you're Easyjet or Skybus and go with a second set of overwing emergency exit doors. As mentioned earlier, AA's configuration is roughly standard.

Well apparently the aircraft for flt 2300 tonight is having some issues. Sitting at the gate in DFW and they've delayed boarding due to having some issues with "our brand new airplane"
