Did anyone go see the limited-release "Unstoppable" movie starring Kirk Cameron last night? In the movie are a couple of airport scenes. The first scene is when he is in the terminal looking out onto the ramp at a Delta Connection CRJ-200. Then a second scene was an aircraft being marshaled in next to a United Express ERJ-145. Does anyone know which airport this was? Could it have been ROA, with its proximity to Liberty University? LYH only has US Airways Express service.

I saw that unstopable. Was there even an airport scene in that movie? IIRC the entire thing took place along a main line freight railway -- and partially in the city of Pittsburgh, which was supposed to be a stand-in for the fictional PA city, Stanton...

What kind of movie was this? I, like others, apparently, immediately thought of the railroad "Unstoppable."
Regional railroad "AWVR," Allegheny and West Virginia Railroad (probably Wheeling & Lake Erie in real life). The headquarters were in Pittsburgh, but the actual location shots were all over central and western Pennsylvania and parts of Ohio. The only location that I know of specifically was near Bellefonte, Pennsylvania where they used part of the Nittany & Bald Eagle short line because of its relative seclusion and terrain. Denzel Washington came to a basketball game at Penn State one night because his son's team was playing Penn State; pretty cool to see him in person.

Actually the movie was based on a true incident, although it wasn't nearly as dramatic. It was a CSX train.

Yeah, I didn't mention that. But AWVR is clearly not a Class-I like CSX and rather a regional that looks and smells a bit like W&LER.

Not to be a wiseguy, but if one wants to the know the filming locations of a movie; one needs to stay around for all of the closing credits. The locations are usually given towards the end of the credits.
As far as the answer to your question's concerned; I don't have the answer since I didn't see the film.
