Values of troubled models like A340 & 744 continue to decline.

I am impressed a tiny ATR valued almost same as a 757.

Indeed, and as ever more 777/787/330/350s twins make in on the market, the ever less appealing the quads become.

Yes you can get a 400-seat MD-11 for price of ATR..

Any word on the A346 and A345? I am curious to know how those values have moved.

I wonder how the 757 rates will look after Delta and AMR start to retire those aircraft.

I cannot help but notice how the CR2 values keep marching down.

Since 2011, when MD-82 prices were dirt cheap, their values have dropped in half.

Pretty soon, MD-80 prices will be below the paperwork costs of aircraft transfer!

Anyone else impressed with 77W resale value retention since the 2011 thread?

The same will be true once the C-series/NEO/MAX hit the market. Those new narrowbodies will really hurt the resale market of other narrowbodies. Everything finds a home for the right price. Even if the home is a scrapper.

Are any trading hands? That is required to establish a value.

Any information on the ERJ-135s and ERJ-140s? I suspect their values have diverged from the ERJ-145.

A340-600 – $35.0 -80.0M, $400-750,000

For the A345 however remember TG just tried to sell some and offer received was on fraction of what they were looking for.

At the moment the 757 market has kept up as folks like FedEx snap up frames for future feed stock. Once FX gets full then I expect the market to drop more substantially.

ERJ135 – $1.7 – 4.8M, $30-50,000

Dont have anything on the 140.

That is quite a range in values. New planes with the latest PIPs versus 'well aged' A320s.

The bottom figure is for the A320-100, which has about as much market interest as a 737-100.

Considering the age of the older 767's I am a little surprised at how well this frame has kept its value.

What amazes me is how well the ERJ is keeping its value. To think a MD82 can be leased for as little a third of of one of them.

It did alright during the traffic boom of the mid-2000s, but once the GFC settled, rates and values started to slide. It's also been helped a bit by the delays to the 787, resulting in some 767s hanging on for longer than planned as their replacements have been delayed.

My thoughts exactly . . .

You actually might get away with calling them PT7's . . .

Keep in mind Boeing is still delivering brand new 763 aircraft (incl passenger versions), which helps keep the top end of the value chart up.
