Quoting BasilFawlty (Reply 1): RJ: none, they don't have plans for LAX right now. |
Quoting BasilFawlty (Reply 1): EY: 01Jun14, 77W |
Quoting KLAXAirport (Reply 3): If RJ were to follow through with their plans, would they come with an A342 or A330 |
Quoting g500 (Thread starter): Just interested in when Etihad, Rojal air Jordanian and Saudi Arabian airlines will launch LAX??? |
Quoting thenoflyzone (Reply 5): Quoting KLAXAirport (Reply 3): If RJ were to follow through with their plans, would they come with an A342 or A330 AMM-LAX is 12259 km and is therefore not doable with the A332. It would have to be the A342. Thenoflyzone |
Quoting thenoflyzone (Reply 8): Didn't Austrian serve LAX in the past. If RJ did get 5th freedom rights, maybe OS can relaunch LAX in order to kick out RJ. |
Quoting MesaFlyGuy (Reply 4): I thought EY was using a 77L for the LAX service? Same as their DFW service. |
Quoting a321luke (Reply 10): Isn't SV supposed to use a 77W for LAX? I doubt a 77E can make it with a full load and no restrictions. |
Quoting thenoflyzone (Reply 13): A 77E and 77W have almost the same range, both at 14,000km + with full load. |
Quoting a321luke (Reply 15): True, I forgot the difference was that little. But still, would the 77E make it with a full load year round? |

Quoting thenoflyzone (Reply 14): At 13409 km, JED-LAX would be the longest 77E flight in the world. That title is currently held by UA on its daily EWR-HKG service, coming in at 12980 km, and which doesn't have to content with the headwinds that JED-LAX will contend with. |
Quoting BasilFawlty (Reply 11): EY doesn't have 77L's |

Quoting The777Man (Reply 18): SV seat map shows a high density 777-200/ER for the LAX route. |
Quoting rutankrd (Reply 23): Almost certainly wrong ! |
Quoting rutankrd (Reply 23): Almost certainly wrong ! Those high density 77Es are normally deployed on domestic regional and flight to the sub-continent. they are rare visitors even to Europe. I was under the impression they were going to deploy a 77W on this service however these are only two class so the obvious choice would be their 77L (internal code not and LR!) frame in the range HZ-AKA- HZ-AKK (excluding HZ-AKF) |

Quoting The777Man (Reply 26): I was very surprised when I saw this but I did make a dummy booking and when I saw the seat map, that's what I saw. Try it yourself. |
