The amount of Russians traveling to Western Europe on the weekends is insanely high. GVA has always been strong and sees a ton of charters apart from regular service. Maybe there was some sort of event that warrants the upgrade that day. |
Lots of ski traffic this time of year. Saturdays between January and Easter are the busiest days of the entire year at
GVA airport. Sometimes you can barely move. This Saturday (Jan. 25) over 30 charters, mostly from the UK, are scheduled to arrive/depart
GVA, in addition to the usual scheduled flights.
