It appears that this summer any flight to/from HNL over 6 hours will scheduled with AVOD equipped aircraft. IAH 767 sCO, ORD 777 sUA, DEN 777 sUA, EWR 767 sCO, IAD 767 sCO.

2-class 777s are flying NRT- GUM and GUM-HNL (4 frames) as well as west-coast-HNL 1x lax, 1x sfo. That accounts for 6 of 9 frames. 1 spare for maintenance routing (ex. longer gound than normal in HNL/SFO), 1 in heavy maintenance. Dunno about the last 1 if they could be used for mainland turns or for slack in the routing ??

That's not what I'm seeing for service in June.

CLE didn't have that many mainline departures to begin with. I think as of a few months ago it was only around 30 mainline departures a day? Maybe less? Not only that, most of the mainline flights are sticking around -- only PHX is scheduled to end later this month. Nearly all of the flights being cut are UAX flights, and those aircraft will be reallocated throughout the system. Most of the props will likely go to IAD and/or EWR, some of the 50-seaters will be parked (particularly as more E175s are delivered anyway), and the rest will simply fly from other hubs while maintaining the 15-20 remaining UAX destinations that still remain -- for now. Mainline will continue flying to approx. 15 destinations for the time being, albeit with reduced frequencies. There won't really be all that much mainline flying freed up as a result.

Does anyone know what the Seating Arrangement is like on N194UA? I know it's not easy to get on that and take pictures yourself, but the only ones I can find are from 2010 before it went to Atlas. Does it have the IPTE layout?

Unless it was reconfigured for Atlas or for UA's charter flights to some sort of all Y layout, it should still have the old F,C suites in them and the old Y layout. N194UA was one of the 6 UA retired in 2008/2009 when fuel prices were sky high (the others being 187, 193, 195, 196, 198. all but 187 were scrapped  )and they did not refit it with IPTE. It was then pulled out of the desert in summer 2010 for charters, then was leased to Atlas in January 2011 for a year before returning.

Will try to find info on these issues in a couple of days. Looked at one in HKG, and the interior was taken out but do not know if ISP is going back in with the cabin reinstallation.

I find it hard to believe that UA has not prioritized this. Inside, it's pretty nice save the lack of PTV's. Wifi will be OK for the next 4-6 years and then onto the A350. I see they moved the 744 to ORD>PVG that's a long 14 hrs w.o any entertainment.
It made me connect in EWR.

I may have missed this from previous discussions, but what is the plan for the mid-lav 738s? I presume they will have the lav removed and be reconfigured like the rest of the 738 fleet, but why have they not gotten to it yet? Will they install the new signature seats with the cabin mod? Why exactly were they delivered with the mid-cabin lavs to begin with?
