Well, you'll be pleased to know that the system has proven itself reliable for our fleet. Anytime the light turns blue, just CYCLE POWER!!! LOL

I am pretty sure this involves removing the mid-cabin lav and making these birds the same config as the remainder of the 738 fleet (to have 1 standard 738 config)

Not exactly. these aircraft are to get slimline seats, which will probably add 12 seats to the Y section vs. the standard 738 configuration. Undoubtedly this will become the future standard config.

One row should be added behind the exit doors @30" pitch. Probably narrower lavs behind the last row.
One row added in front of the exit doors. Guessing it will probably reduce a row of E+ seats at 34" pitch (currently 738s have insane 37" pitch in E+). This should leave room for 2 rows of Y seats with 30" pitch in front of the exits.

It is in for KA Band WiFi installation.

# 812, # 815, # 819 are getting KA Band WiFi installled. Seems like INT is doing WiFi installs, even #260. INT is hitting it hot and heavy, averaging close to 20 installs a month.

I'm currently enroute from SEA to EWR on a 738 (flt1695) and I seriously don't know what some of the posters/divas on here are complaining about with these A/C. No seatback entertainment but it's got wifi and power outlets and the wifi speed is 25 Mbs. That's about 8-9 times faster than my home internet and close to 50 times as fast as my internet when I'm at work overseas. Slimline seats are just as comfortable as the old ones.

1 empty seat on this flight and it's the one next to me in the exit row. United Club in SEA is stunning and didn't have to ride a train!
