Quoting SANFan (Reply 6): I find this interesting. With these announced changes thru late summer and fall and heading for winter, everything from BLI to the sunny Southwest destinations is being decreased in frequency. Maybe this is all normal seasonal adjustment but it seems a bit odd. And as for SAN-BLI, the service ended last year in August and just re-started last month. The intriguing thing to me is that there still is no nonstop SAN-YVR service so I would think that might increase the interest in BLI-SAN... (I assume the flight will again be cancelled this winter...) |

Im not complaining i just bought $150 and $179 each ways on EWR-LAX which no way can cover their costs, but they really want to give virgin america as hard a time as possible. I dont even think they can fill all the seats at these prices my last EWR-SFO flight was almost empty like whole rows empty and i think i again paid $179 also, so easy and cheap to become an elite if you live in EWR/SFO or LAX these days so many miles for such a low price. |

Quoting oc2dc (Reply 17): Clearly they are shifting the flying to US, which is to be expected. . . My only question is why do they even have one flight? Shouldn't they just have US do all the flying. I doubt one daily CRJ2 for AA will make a difference in the grand scheme of things. |
Quoting Beardown91737 (Reply 30): LAX-PHX is for the regional to reposition or it is flown at-risk. |
Quoting seatback (Reply 31): Next will we see US exit DFW? I can see DFW-CLT, DFW-PHL going all AA. |
Quoting Beardown91737 (Reply 30): No surprise that PMAA flights RJ service to PMUS hubs is being dropped without replacement. Mergers result in capacity being removed from the system. |
Quoting seatback (Reply 31): Next will we see US exit DFW? I can see DFW-CLT, DFW-PHL going all AA. |
Quoting Cubsrule (Reply 33): Without doing all of the addition, I think US may have more capacity than AA on DFW-CLT and about the same on DFW-PHL. |
Quoting MasseyBrown (Reply 27): This is possibly an error. Before UA's announcement, DL's schedules showed a reduction from 4 to 3; afterward DL put the fourth flight back on delta.com. Their OAG listing may be slow to catch up. |
Quoting airplanedaj (Reply 18): Wow! Cape Air is really cutting frequencies, especially at BOS. Dropping 9x daily on ACK-BOS, 10x on BOS-MVY, and cutting HYA-MVY. Pilot shortage must be hitting them hard. |

Quoting knope2001 (Reply 29): Southwest has only run MCI-SEA during the warmer months for quite a few years now. It does look like they're ending the season earlier than last year. |
Quoting tyler81190 (Reply 38): That's what I was thinking, I thought I remembered the service extending into early november for WN, and when F9 was hub bed in MCI they operated a SEA non-stop as well. (though prior to AS entering the market) |
Quoting knope2001 (Reply 39): Strikes me as odd considering MCI is as strong as ever for Southwest. Perhaps it speaks for how Southwest does at SEA as much as anything. |

Quoting Mah4546 (Reply 37): But US added the additions last week. MIACLT loses five 50-seat RJs and gaines two A320s. That's a net gain in seats. US is also adding ORDCLT and LAXPHX capacity. |
