BA 77W Routes Summer 14 / Winter 14-15

Does anyone have a list of where BA will send their 77Ws this summer (north America) and upcoming winter?

My August BA207 flight to MIA has been changed from 744 to 77W.

Slight tangent, but my Sept return from SEA has also been changed from 744 to 772

For the upcoming winter the 77W will be used on BA283/282 (LHR-LAX) on TUE/THU.

I recently checked a Monday in June (June 16th) and found 77Ws on the following:

LHR-SEA
LHR-ORD
LHR-GIG
LHR-BOM
LHR-NRT
LHR-PVG
LHR-HKG
LHR-SIN-SYD
This is my signature until I think of a better one.

Anyone know the likelihood of BA294 from ORD switching from 744 to 77W? I'm taking the flight on July 26. I was hoping it'd stay 744, as this would be my first trip on the upper deck of the 744. Thanks for your help.

The 77Ws have been seen on both 296/297 and 295/294 rotations in the last few weeks, but at the moment it is still showing as a B744.

One thing I will bet is that ain't gonna be a 77W if it starts on BA metal.  
Although personally, I was suspecting that LAN may use TAM's former GIG slots to start it themselves if they have 787s to spare.

What does BA's 744 retirement plan look like? When will it start? I wonder if BA will send 77Ws to MEX once the 744s are retired.
Upcoming flights:
April/May: AM MEX-SCL 788 (J), AM EZE-MEX 789 (J).

The retirement of members of the G-BNL- series has already commenced

However a few will remain along with the later G-CIV- and G-BYG- registered series aircraft for a number of years yet and probably few will still be around next decade !

With the demise of G-BNLL at JNB the above programme could well be amended.

G-BNLT was withdrawn from service earlier this month.

The 77W is only currently showing as operating the following flights during W14.

BA005/BA006 - LHR-NRT-LHR - Daily
BA015/BA016 - LHR-SIN-SYD-SIN-LHR - Daily
BA077/BA076 - LHR-LAD-LHR - 2 x Weekly
BA195/BA194 - LHR-IAH-LHR - Daily
BA249/BA248 - LHR-GIG-LHR - Daily
BA283/BA282 - LHR-LAX-LHR - 2 x Weekly
BA297/BA296 - LHR-ORD-LHR - Daily

Further updates are highly likely in the coming months.

BA currently operates a daily NRT service, as does VS. No Japanese carriers operate to NRT (from LHR), which is amazing!

I believe BA has the right to increase its NRT service, but they will be looking closely to see what effect the HND service has on NRT numbers; I would expect them to maintain a daily service but downgrade to a 789 (or even 788, depending on J Class demand) and then, upgrade HND.

Has LAN indicated a wish to fly to LHR? It would not surprise me if they did, because the two countries have traditionally good relations, with good trading links.

Don't forget, BA also has two more 77Ws coming soon; 'STBK (LN 1204 - just about to be rolled out at PAE, according to Matt Cawby) and 'STBL (LN 1221).
