This one time I was watching TV I can't remember the program or anything but I was actually watching TV and I heard someone on the TV make fun of Delta it was hilarious.

I don't see the UA thing as much of a "bandwagon," it's more like the truth....For example, the Japanese can't stand flying UA, from my experience.
I ask them "what's your favorite and least favorite airline, besides JL and NH" and they say LH and SQ is favorite and UA is least favorite.
So there you have it.

After Alec Baldwin was thrown of AA for not shutting off his smartphone, he appeared on SNL as AA's chief pilot, apologizing to Mr. Baldwin and blaming the Chapter 11 filing on the carrier's treatment of Baldwin.
Of course, Seth Meyers kept saying, "Alec, no one is buying this. Just stop the charade." Even some AA employees I know thought it was funny.

Who cares, these comedians are all pandering to the lowest common denominator for laughs and he is no different. His show is advertised as a "fake news show". Thus I would rely on him for accurate depictions of the days events as much as I rely on CNN for accurate news.

I think the real message here is we all learned that Hell has an airport, and UA flies there. This is further evidence of UA's "superior network." It also suggests lifetime benefits with UA (million milers, etc.) might have value beyond the grave.

First of all it is a light hearted one liner from a Guest. If Cobert want to take on UA, it will be a 3-5 minute rant.
Satirical comedy is the only way to report truth in this country. Three major channels have to play nice to someone, so they can never tell real story. Have to tweak a little.

Wait, you spoke to all the Japanese people? The Japanese are pretty loyal to their home carriers but saying the 'Japanese can't stand UA' is BS if you ask me. I've lived in Japan (although it's been a while) and flown to NRT a lot on UA and guess what, more than half the people on those planes were Japanese so that statement is an overkill at best. Heck, I know some Japanese folks who can't stand JL.

What's the weather like in that ivory tower you are looking down on all of us commoners from. BTW, if you haven't noticed Colbert has turned that show into a successful business that employees dozens of people. His wife is a producer that has "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" among her credits so apparently she knows how to make a buck too... just in a different business than airlines (which is why he spent a whole week promoting that movie on his show)

Jon Stewart's main target over the past six months has been Arby's. I hope they are paying him because I never think about that place till I turn on his show then suddenly I want a roast beef sandwich and curly fries.

It was falsely reported that Will.I.Am was tossed out of the Global First Lounge. He was denied entry because he was flying on a domestic itinerary, which even for Global Services doesn't grant access to the GFL. He had a United Club membership, but that doesn't work either except in UA Clubs. There was a misunderstanding with the lounge dragon and he chose to take it out on UA on Twitter -- despite him being in the wrong. UA put out a press release outlining the requirements for entry to the GFL, and that the passenger in question did not meet those requirements.
Other celebrities have certainly had a good case to make for UA's dismal performance of late, but in this case, UA was not at fault.

There is a town in Michigan called Hell, but the nearest airport is DTW at 46miles away, but there is an airstrip 18 miles away

Yeah, but they only fly there with UAX and ERJ-145s.

They do fly to HEL(Finland) from ARN and MUC (operated by LH carrying UA code)
